Dark Knight, for me, is easy top-10 probable top-5.

I was really drawn in by Joker and loved Joaquin Phoenix. Haven't seen it a second time but am interested to see if my view changes, and if so, how.

It's a psychological foray that draws on some classics like Scorsese's Taxi Driver and King Of Comedy and has a late-70's/early 80,s red-light district, graininess to it.

This is a love- or-hate type film.

Worked for me.

I never saw Taxi Driver, but definitely thought of the u talking to me scene and thought Joker ripped it off. It’s like they tried to make Joker as deranged as possible. Like Natural Born Killers.

Homie, I’m with u on this one and agreed with your review of 1917 after I saw it. I liked 1917, but I guess I didn’t think it was edge of your seat throughout like say Fury Road was.
