Holtz is generally regarded as a higher pick than Perfetti, albeit usually 2 or 3 spots.
I'd be ok with Perfetti, I'm certainly no knocking him.

Stutzle would be great, but personally, I'd like to see Rossi fall to them myself.

- IonSabres

Rossi could make the NHL next year. He is too good for the OHL not good enough for the NHL.

Rossi is going to be a star.

Need to know what's going on with the Draft, then we should have a better perspective on what happens. I still like Lundell
- Buff36

Ya, that has gone very quiet over the past 10 days or so.
I'm hoping for the Draft after the playoffs, with all 7 teams outside the playoffs in the Lottery with no restrictions on falling back or moving forward...just because the Sabres can't lose anything in that scenario

This is the year to pick a random ass team to win. I'd take action on the Canucks or Wild with those odds

Yeah that would be perfect, even if they didn't win it, still wouldn't mind moving up a 2 or 3

He has a combination of Marchand and Crosby’s skill sets.

Rossi or Raymond would make this draft a home run for Buffalo. However we really can’t go wrong with Holtz, Perfetti, Lundell either.

Just don’t franking take Sanderson or Askarov

What I have read on Askarov says very high end talent just doesn't show up enough in games, but can take a game over when he feels like it. Sounds like another ex Sabre.

Askarov is a beast. The Sabres aren’t in a position to pass on any of these forward talents for a goaltender however.

I can see a team like Chicago taking Askarov though.

But definitely agree on that. Would you trade the pick for Larkin. Rumor out there that Ottawa might consider trading to get that top pick.

I would trade our pick for Larkin yes.

Would probably do it for Cirelli too but I would want the Lightning to include their late first rounder so that way we can still have a pick in the first round.

Can't remember where I read it but they where saying Ottawa loved Lafreniere and might be willing to do 2 and 3 to get Detroit number 1.

Wow.
I think that is crazy myself, I'd be very very happy with Byfield alone, let alone Byfield and...pick one.

I would take Jack, Cozens, Lundell down the middle, we would be set for years. But I would also like one of the Wingers because we need that to. It really depends on how the draft falls.

Oh I agree, but if that happened and Detroit decided to do it, would they be willing to move Larkin for are 1st. They could rebuild there team in 1 draft.

That would be dumb. And I doubt any GM would be foolish enough to do that. Ottawa will get two studs. Why trade 2 for 1

1. Alexis Lafreniere (6-foot-1, 196 pounds), LW, Rimouski (QMJHL)

2019-20: 52 games, 35-77-112, 40 power-play points, 50 PIM, plus-41 rating, 261 shots on goal

Best assets: Playmaking, skating, compete

Possible NHL comparable: Jonathan Huberdeau, Florida Panthers forward

NHL Central Scouting analysis: "Exceptionally smart player with top-end speed and a pull-away gear. He's great at carrying the puck and leading rushes and executes under pressure, has great vision and anticipation. Lafreniere offers high-end puck skills and vision to create plays, has an impressive compete level every time he's on the ice, and elevates his game in pressure situations while demonstrating leadership skills."

Love huberdeau but you don’t trade two guys who could be him for 1.
