well the biggest argument about "opening up" seems to be about people who are tired of sacrificing their social schedule. because this idea that you "re-open" and the economy magically starts turning a corner is fallacy. the people hardest hit by this are going to continue to suffer even when Joe Beef opens to 50% capacity.

A lot of poorly run, 3rd world dictatorships do not have a lot of money, but certainly a lot of power. Besides a lot of people taking out loans or seeking government intervention will be in debt to our elected overlords

Edit: but any government who might be using this as a power grab won't have it for much longer
