Lol yeah tell that to the people that your people in blue plant fake drugs in and shoot innocent people

Not you you seem loyal and wouldn't do sketchy stuff like that

Can’t, never happened near me. Do you know how statistically insignificant that is. Police go on over 100 million calls a year and people like you drone on the 4-5 calls a year that are bad.

I've been pretty hard on the narrative driving this whole thing, and I'm not going to say he's done everything 100% right, but Cuomo at least deserves credit for trying to get things going again. Governors like Newsome in CA and whatever her name is in Michigan seem to want to have their constituents stay under their covers in the fetal position until a vaccine comes out.

We go to every call we get sent to. People of all races get pulled over for traffic violations. Your talking points and identity politics are nauseating and ignorant.

Cuomo was getting sued. Will be getting sued for his horrible decision on nursing homes too. unfortunately us taxpayers will be paying for his mistakes. Thankfully he is letting people going back to work though

In case people want to talk hockey instead of fighting culture wars:

https://dobberprospects.c...ck-probabilities/#respond

My problem with the methodology is that using games played as a metric for evaluating top-10 pick success isn't really useful. This article uses a benchmark of 100 games played, but almost every top-10 pick will get 100 games just based on the fact that they were picked in the top-10.

Do you think you are getting more for him now when a team has 2 years of full control, or waiting?

I am not advocating for taking back garbage, mind you.

Depends on a lot of factors. Just need a good, solid hockey trade-- value for value. Value as defined by the perception of both GM's

If this virus is so insignificant, why is the Senate GOP trying to add a no-liability clause to the next Cares Act Phase? If it's nuthin more than a chicken little hoax, why that protection?

I never used the word hoax. And the only chicken little reference I used was for Imperial College model which everyone based their decisions on, and I stand by that.

That being said, a no-liability clause is smart in a situation like this. The liability exposure goes way beyond merely getting sick. Cuomo is already being sued by an Amherst law firm stating that the order to work from home is an abuse of power. Now, I would be shocked if that case gets to the courtroom. I am guessing it will either be dismissed or settled, but the primary purpose would be to avoid things like that.

I don't think they have abuse of power in mind. Businesses, and even politicians, don't want to take any responsibility for putting their employees/constituents back to work in the early stages of a pandemic. Trump and top business execs on down are washing their hands of risk and responsibility. Having a law like the one they're trying write in protects them and their interests and allows them to walk away scott free

I am willing to bet that there are going to be more lawsuits revolving around businesses/people being out of work in the first place than there will be revolving around coming back "too early".

Lawsuits for what?

It's a declared pandemic with both the Feds and States declaring states of emergency. And not only that, the Federal Gov't issued guidelines for reopening and not one state to my knowledge has met the criteria.

In truth, the liability shield isn't needed to avoid frivolous litigation initiated by firms that earn 80% of their revenue closing residential real estate deals. Those lawsuits fizzle away through their own manifest lack of merit.

It's the cases where there is REAL legal responsibility that would otherwise overwhelm an important segment of the economy where you get legislative liability shields.

No one is forcing anyone back to work. You want to hide down your basement then do it. If you want to come back to work don’t expect to get rich by suing your employer and getting rich off it if you get sick. It is the right move to pass this.
