What id like to do is take the 6th, 7th and 8th overall picks from say 2007-2017 (too soon for the '18+ to really know) and then do the breakdown you proposed to give an average value of a 7th overall pick where the sabres will probably pick. With the understanding that this year is closer to '03 than '14 or whatever people consider shallow

The hard part is identifying then defending your assignment of T-3/1stPr or M-6/2nd Pr, etc.

I agree. All this discussion tells me is that the two party system does a great job of creating divisions in class, race and gender to distract us while the large corporations (frank) everybody over so they can give the shareholders a few more nickels in the dividend checks
