Like I said Sam is fine just not worth a 7m + contract when you have no 2nd line center

Trade ristolainen for ehlers
Trade Sam for keller or nico
Trade Montour,1st 2021 for Hertl

Jack would be happy with all that speed

Virus has a .1% death rate after the antibody tests came back. Everything will he open soon. And a possible vaccine is in the works

If there was any doubt of the existence of the psychological concept of Groupthink, the past month and a half has put it to rest.

Is that on Botts or Kreuger? And before anyone says that Botts should demand certain roster/lineup decisions, that doesn't happen very often in a GM/head coach relationship. Especially only months into the coaches tenure.

.

GM owns the Roster, Coach owns the lineup.
However, in unique circumstances, evaluating business needs is cause to override the lineup.
To pretend otherwise is silly.
It is a business.

ok.
Do you really believe the other teams would pull the trigger?
I suspect Sabres would need to add to each h pla kage, to varying degrees....maybe Sam trade would be closer.

Miami-Dade County has now completed two rounds of random sampling for antibodies, and both surveys found a 0.18% fatality rate. The study sampled 32 municipal statistical areas in this county of 2.75 million people and found that between 4.4% and 7.9% of the population contained the antibodies. Extrapolating the survey results to the entire county’s population would mean that between 123,000 and 221,000 residents have already gotten the virus and that the fatality rate is therefore between 0.13% and 0.23%, for a median of 0.18%.

Yes, the GM "owns" all of that. So you're saying a GM should dictate what a coach should do?. The owner actually owns the team, should he dictate what the GM should do? Especially only a few months in?

The survey showed in the state overall 13.9% of those had coronavirus antibodies, indicating they had previously been exposed but have overcome the disease. They are now recovered.

The state Health Department says it’s an important part of the reopening process.

“The test we are performing is for a marker of an immune cell in your body. But what we don’t know yet is whether or not that indicates that you’ll have complete immunity against future infection,” said New York state Department of Health Deputy Commissioner Brad Hutton.

Results show antibodies in 12% of women and 15.9% of men, but a disproportionate rate of antibodies in black and Latino New Yorkers. The governor says in part because many are essential workers.

“Also, you have more people in the New York City area. More people getting on subways, getting on buses, more people dealing with that density, and we know that’s where it communicates,” Cuomo said.

The Governor says he’s working with churches in those communities. Many have volunteered for testing sites.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Thursday the coronavirus hospitalization and intubation rates have continued to decline in New York.

There were an additional 438 lives lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cuomo said.

Cuomo said if the 13.9% statewide infection rate holds true, that would suggest a total amount of infections of around 2.7 million statewide, with a 0.5% death rate.

It's totally absent of reality, and no coach would want the coaching job under a GM who is mandating the coach play certain players in which situations.

They're not faking it, but they're definitely not emphasizing it either, at least nationally. Now, there's a big emphasis by the media on how the antibody tests might have false positives, though there's never a mention of false positives for the virus tests themselves.

That being said, my brother had all the symptoms back in February: fever, shortness of breath, and dry cough. He also lost his sense of taste during that time period. He also tested negative for the flu, mono, and strep. He took the antibody test on Friday and found out he was negative yesterday. The problem here is that everyone thinks they had "It" even when there were other sicknesses going around. It's like the 1992 comeback game. The stadium seats 80,000, and yet 200,000 people will tell you they were there.

There's enough deadweight coming off the books that the $3 million overage won't be that big of a deal. He has plenty of room to improve the team if he wants to/is able. It's not the perfect scenario, but if this team doesn't improve drastically next season, those overages won't be the reason.
- buffalofan19

Potentially putting himself at $3.3m cap disadvantage with a stagnant cap would be very bad if they're actually interested in upgrading the roster. It's comically bad considering they're the 6th worst team in the league. Accruing cap penalties on such a poopty team has to be a record - like Happy Gilmore being the only person who has ever taken off his skate and tried to stab someone.

Jets have 4 RD and Ehlers on his 2nd year of a 7 year contract was putting up career numbers. Sounds reasonable.
Keller and Nico just signed 8 and 7 year extensions for $58m and $50m. Neither is getting traded regardless of how many times you post it.
San Jose is paying two RD $19.5m so I am sure that they are looking to trade their best option at 2C for another $4-5m RD.
You really don't put any thought into your posts, do you?

Once this is all done we will see it was less contagious then people thought, more people had it with no symptoms and the survival rate is 99.5-99.9%. Crazy we shut world down for it but now we know.

And it’s why everything is starting to open up now. Be smart, don’t get close to too many people and the world will go on like it always has after every scare.

I have no idea what being a liberal, conservative, or other has to do with this.

There is always a danger in extrapolating a small sample and applying it to a much larger number set.

It's a good start to use as a basis, but there are still further refinements that are needed.

You said everything will be open soon. I will assume you mean open but with several guidelines that are needed to be adhered to.

What makes you think that regarding the bolded above?

I agree with the more people having it without having any discernible symptoms aspect.

It was, and the estimated hospitalization numbers that these decisions were made were based on models that did the same extrapolating that you are now decrying.

Yes based off an extrapolation. Cuomo was crying because he needed 40,000 ventilators and a hospital ship because of all the “projected” sick based off numbers. Didn’t need anything he was crying about.
