you f@ckers need to pick a lane

I’m not advocating, nor would I do it, but I feel like a Max Domi for Reinhart swap is realistic
- sbroads24

I would do it but I want a multi-player deal in that case, with McCabe jettisoned to the moon in this trade as well.

If Botts is as bad as people on here are saying, and Kruger is as bad as people are saying, why are they still employed? Our team has gone nowhere and does not seem to be headed in the right direction, based on standings and discussion around the league AND on this board.

If we look at all the signs, why does anyone still have a job? I am serious. Why do they all still have jobs?

- TC4145

Kym and Teri are friggin clueless.
Hence why a bonafide President ( not VP of Ops) makes a ton of sense for this franchise.

We all seem to be in the same lane...
He is good hockey player who is a complimentary, not a core piece.
He could have enough value to secure a player a bigger position of need and impact.

YOU seem to interpret it as we all hate Risto....oooops, Reino
Put your indicator on and pull into the left lane, we are going faster, join us.

Boss is in the right lane yelling and screaming at everyone, and shaking his fist at them...he hates Risto....oooops, Reino

Edit: I meant Reino

It's cheaper for Terry to stay with Botterill than to pay alimony to him for a year and get a new GM. We just have to hope he doesn't really (frank) things up even more before his contract expires next spring

I don't think risto is the problem

I agree with those that say we don't need montour and risto so one needs to go

on the skunk, they are more pissed at where he was drafted, then what he is

I mean how many years has girgens got a pass, or the likes of staff, paille, kalinin

reinhart is a much better player then any of them

If he’s not going to do anything, as what you are expecting, than I wouldn’t worry about it

No one thinks they suck 🙄🙄. Again this is a cap league. Contracts matter. Overpaying players unless they are super stars is almost always a bad move and cripples your team eventually. Only time it’s good is when your on the cusp of a cup. We are on the cusp of getting sent to the AHL

Well shouldn't every player not named Eichel or Dahlin be available for trade if it helps improve the team.
- Buff36

Reinhart to Van for Bo Horvat. Only a year older, plays Center and can maybe salvage Skinner.

Well that would be worse, as it would probably lead to Eichel forcing his way out of town. He'll have to thread the needle between getting good and (frank)ing the team over in the long run.

My assumption is he'll acquire two mediocre forwards, put mitts, cozens and Tage in the lineup and they finish with 85 points.

I would love for him to prove me wrong and actually acquire a good center

He has mostly like drafted one in Cozens and has another shot at it this year depending on how things played out

Hate to say it folks, those who are trading Reinhart...

Unless you're taking back a winger in return, you're opening a hole to fill one. We can't rob peter to pay paul here. I'd hope that Botts has Samson off the table completely, unless he's going for this 8x8 nonsense.

We haven’t yet. certainly don’t want him to and with Botts track record if he stays I’m sure it would happen

I'm sure Botterill also feels that his draft picks will fill those holes. That's why I dont expect him to acquire anyone objectively good to play center

if between casey, cozens and the 2020 pick

if he does not have a second line center from them, he needs to pack his sh!t

Having a hole at 2C is much worse then having a hole on the wing.

Build down the middle and you’ll be surprised the production you’ll get out of the Mojo‘s, Olofsson’s, and Kahun’s of the world.

Ideally we keep Reinhart and solve our problem but you need to give to get in this business.

It's not the first one, the second one might be a winger or realistically should start at 3C, and the 2020 pick will be 18 years old. It shouldn't be any one of those three options

I'm not counting on Botts landing a No. 2 center. Hope he does but I'm keeping expectations low

Girgensons is a whipping boy for a lot of us here, I don't know a single person who likes Stafford or liked him or thought he was any kind of good, Kalinin was a joke and I never hear his name mentioned.

Paille was okay but he was no Dumont.

You're reaching very far with these names. No one talks about them or has good memories of them.

That's all well and good, but it does very little to nothing regarding the quality of the team for next year.

They need a quality NHL center ASAP.

No more waiting and hoping one of the prospects can become that, for the 3rd year in a row.
