What’s the rush for the entry draft anyway? It’s not like kids in the CHL are going to sign KHL deals. Only the top 2 or 3 18year olds have a chance of cracking an NHL roster. Most everyone else will simply go back to their junior teams next year anyway.
Yeah yeah, it’s something for fans to talk about. Big whoop.
Figure out what you are doing for the rest of this year, then worry about the draft, free agency etc later. - 1970vintage
there's so many tangential issues that this is going to be a sh!t show no matter what.
nhl contracts expire june 30 so what happens to the contracts? what happens if a player doesn't want to play (based on any reason including health) and wants his contract to expire on june 30? can he sign elsewhere (in europe etc.)?
what happens to the kids who have to announce their ncaa intentions? they could lose out on college eligibility based on the timing (i'm not sure on what american college restrictions are).
what about the trades that involve conditional draft picks if the season doesn't finish such as miller?
like i said, a total sh!t show. i don't envy the league in the issues they have to address in the next couple of months. |

I am totally against a June draft. I think it is stupid . I am glad most of the GMs agree. |

Yeah, just figure things out one step at a time. It’s part of the reason I want them to just accept that this year is done, because it would make almost all of those other problems easy to solve. |

i know you were but there is a sentiment out there that we shouldn't re-start anything even though the medical pro's are saying that we're getting closer to easing restrictions.
i didn't mean that against you (although i acknowledge that it came across that way.) - RealityChecker

They can do it in June as scheduled but they just have to cancel the season and the playoffs first. |

if that's true, that means 100% they are finishing this season. |

Well, at least we won’t have to worry about the Canucks in November next season. That’s a plus for the top 10 finish gang |

Good teachers are very under paid
Bad teachers are grossly over paid and worth zero.
Figure out how to get rid of the bad ones and the good ones can have raises. The union is crushimg the good teachers financially - Jkuzzi

So according to this we're out of the playoffs if the season doesn't resume.
