I really don't understand why you say somethings, you complain about the Bill's not drafting Oline to develop, but they do that with other positions WR,CB to develop but it's stupid. Other then that RT Nietchke(spelled wrong) every one else is 28 or younger. With the UDFA they signed they have 5 developmental Oline on the roster know. I know what you're trying to say but you only have so many spots. - Buff36
Good post 36
Only so many open spots at each position on the roster
O linei has some young guys who need a look still before we pick another guy. (Late) |

I don't see how a bottom-10 OL can improve exponentially with no marquee additions.
The 49ers made a huge trade for an OL and still got the guy they wanted to draft.
We whiffed on this draft and we will regress next year if the stars don't line up for us. Allen is going to get killed behind our OL as it currently is constructed. - BeadyEyedDouche
You don't know how much they will improve, Morse was hurt most of Camp and preseason, Spain missed a lot with his thumb. More time you get to play as a unit the more continuity you build, the better you become, that was severely impacted last year. I can't say they will improve but another year together should help, and hopefully Allen takes his next steps and gets the Ball out a little quicker, that has a affect on things too |

The bills added plenty of o line help the last couple years his free agency. We didn’t need to draft a guard or tackle. They are fine at the position.
The last tackle we signed. We will most likely trade anyways. After camp is over. That is how good our depth it

It's not about the 6th rounder, it's about what positions they drafted. A DE was great and trading that 1st for Diggs was great, but to then go ahead and draft 2 more WR's, when we already have Diggs, Beasly, Brown and about 4 other depth WR's, another RB - yet again, a position you can pick the waiver wire for - another CB - our secondary is one of our strengths, then to trade up for a Kicker is very asinine.
Essentially our draft was:
WR (1st)
DE (2nd)
RB (3rd)
WR (4th)
QB (5th)
K (6th)
WR (6th)
CB (7th)
OL (UDFA)
Looks to me like the philosophy is to surround Josh Allen with skill and hope he can just huck the ball as soon as it's snapped, because we now have like 10 WR's on the team, 3 RB's, 3 QB's no TE's to write home about, regardless of butter fingers emerging last year as a potential 500 yard TE...
Who the hell is going to block for these guys? The 21st ranked OL is all of a sudden going to jump into the top-10?
They waited until after the draft to sign an injury prone OL who is admittedly a monster but a serious question mark, and spent THREE (frank)ing draft picks on WIDE RECEIVERS in this draft, not exactly an area of weakness after the Diggs trade.
Our DL and secondary are strengths as well, but picking a DE in round 2 is a great move regardless... But I question our LB core and it's depth going into next season and we have almost no depth on the Offensive Line still. Scouring Free Agents is fine and all but they have not had a good history of drafting the OL position, and that's the main reason why we missed the playoffs for almost 20 god damn years.
Why you can't seem to understand this is beyond me because it's not exactly complicated and I shouldn't have to sit here explaining myself to you because you clearly don't understand a word I type but with a kindergarten reading level I'm not surprised. - BeadyEyedDouche
They didn't trade up for him... |

Williams before his injury a couple years ago was a Allpro at RT, if he has come back all the way you have your starting RT there and Ford can move to RG where he should be, Williams is only 26. |

Thanks 34, by all accounts most of the things I have read have said the Bill's had a very good draft, and I tend to agree. Would have liked a LB, but they have Joseph coming of off IR so hopefully that is like having another 4th or 5th red pick this year. |

You mean 3rd or 4th CB since Johnson is are starting slot CB. And obviously Beane saw something in Davis, he's been pretty good at evaluating talent. And I hope Fromm doesn't see the field, that means Allen is healthy and doing his job, but he will be a better backup then Barkley if Allen does get hurt. - Buff36
I guess we can revisit during the preseason
As of now, I’m underwhelmed |

We won't know for a few years how this turned out, we got players that will help know and hopefully some that will help down the line. The Bill's roster for the most part was pretty stacked going into the Draft, we will see how it works out. |

Refusing to address the OL means they don't draft them high, they almost NEVER draft a C (Eric Wood the last one?), and they don't properly develop them. It's more than just making the pick, Ion. - BeadyEyedDouche
You need to think your premiss over a bit.
Get back to us when you stop moving it all over the field. |

wtf - BeadyEyedDouche
Beady if you want to argue about this all night, I got the time. You change your premise with everything you write. You have some good points about the oline, but you can't say they need to develop more of them, but then rip on them for drafting other positions to hopefully develop. You say they don't draft oline high, well they did last year with Ford, before that Dawkins. They got the highest rated C in FA last year. They have Bates, Boettger, Magnuson, Ford all young and developing, plus the 3 they signed this year. You said you have played Football all your life, well then you should know that chemistry and playing together are big things with oline, 4 out of 5 were brand new, injuries affected the whole off-season last year. Hopefully they grow together and form that chemistry. |
