Anyone care to discuss Littlejerryseinfeld’s roster build? - Der Kaiser
Don't like signing a guy that's 30 to a 6m a year deal pass
And that trade for Logan is way too much |

With the NHL considering opening in July with all games being played in 4 cities with no fans, I would think that Buffalo would be a logical choice for one of the venues.
With a hotel connected to the arena and two additional rinks, I don't know that there would be a better opportunity to get the most out of one venue and limit the chances of another outbreak.
Games could be played at two of the rinks and the third could be used solely for practices. This could allow for several games a day with ample time to sanitize between games and practices. Although not ideal for the players, being connected to the hotel they could wait til they return to their room to shower furthering any unnecessary close contact.
With a hotel that is completely empty, each team could likely have their own floor and mostly players and personel could have their own rooms (not everyone, but a lot could.)
Buffalo has a much lower population and if travel is needed between cities, the airports here would limit exposure as well.
This would be a strong and positive move for PSE, the Pegula's and the Sabres. This should be a top priority for them to be advocating at this time. |

In order to trade him next year you would have to excercise the 5th year option. That would be a $10.1m salary and fully guaranteed if he gets injured. Better to just let him walk and get your free compensatory pick which would likely be a 3rd or 4th at the worst. |

Interesting idea, but the airport concern is a non-issue. They're all ghosttowns and will continue to be until flight travel demand is up, which won't be for quite a while. |

Sure, but even with limited travel I would avoid bigger cities, especially ones with international flights. The proposal was to start in July, so who knows what travel will look like at that point. Also, with the proximity of Buffalo to other nhl cities, airports could be avoided even more with the use of buses. |

I can’t even picture an nhl playoff game being played at harbor centers side rink with no fans. It would be really weird. |

they will not trade him next summer
if they got him, they either need to pick up the 5th year option for 10 mil, or tag him, or sign extension, or he becomes a free agent 11 months from now |

Yeah. I made that point already. About fornette taking gores job.
It’s a good idea. I just want to know how the guy ticks / his personality before you make that trade.
Everything coming out in social media. The guy seems like a “jerk” and not a player that would stick to the process. |

Bossman,
Ross Tucker, who is one of my favorites in the biz, just named Winfield Jr. as his most likely won’t be drafted in the first round sleeper pick. Said he might play safety, but plays just like his dad. Ross is on sports radio down here and does eagles color for pre season games. Really good.
Might need to see if my mom still has my Winfield circa 2001 jersey up there. There’s no way. |

They don't use the terminals anyway, they use FBOs because they have charter planes. |

One thing worth monitoring, Seattle has two picks in 2nd round after Bills. Would be great if someone was falling that Sea Hawks just hafta have. Balt., Miami, Rams and Sota between Bills and Hawks. Bills 2nd and 3rd about 60 points short in pick value of Seattle’s 2nds, but that’s the vig on a player you hafta have. |
