Beady does have a point in that the O-line needs an upgrade based upon last season as PFF ranked that group 21st. The offense was ranked 23rd, with a passing game ranked 26th and a running game ranked 8th at Pro Football Reference.
However. Would a 6th rounder make a difference in those rankings? Any moreso than a 7th rounder or UDFA
Methinks anything is possible but a situation like that leans heavily towards improbable. - Michael Pachla
I’m not as into the draft as a lot of you, but I did watch Day1 and 2. We DO need help on the OLine. How many times did we see the graphic that told us Josh got rushed more than any other QB in the league (or something like that)?
I think the better argument would be that with the WR corps we already had - even in a draft featuring insane and deep WR talent - we might have used some of the picks in the earlier rounds to bolster our oVerall OL talent. I don’t have any problem with the K pick in the 6th round, it’s that we didn’t do more to obtain OL help that might have taken a spot - or competed for one - on Day 1 next season. |

Don't like any of the trades TBH ..
Paying that much for max that's crazy
And Jake Allen is so bad - gerbe75pts
Too much for Max? This really depends on how much Sam asks for, but it's moving down one spot in the 1st round, gaining a 2nd and giving up a 4th. I don't think it's unreasonable, especially if Sam wants $8m.
And Allen for 1 year is better suited to split games as a 1B than Hutton even at the extra cost. |

I agree we should move Sam if the price gets high I would trade him to NJ for nico or keller
Jake Allen is not the answer I would get one of the Phoenix ones |

Depending on cost, I'd be inclined to try to pick up R-OT Josh Jones if he slide down several picks. Getting a R-OT allows Ford to move inside to R-G and help solidify the O-line for years and years.
He'll probably go too early cost wise, but if not it would be a good move.
EDGS is probably the real move they make, followed by their Big Nickel Duggler would be solid.
Claypool would provide some great entertainment! - IonSabres
FYI, Josh Jones could’ve been had without trading up at all. U advocated trading up to get him and been arguing we didn’t need OL help ever since we didn’t have to trade up to get him.
Maybe that should’ve been the pick. Hope Epenesa is good. Morse and Feliciano are the only two on the OL I think are solid. I want a Saints, Ravens, 49ers and Chiefs line. Hope I’m not adding Browns, Dolphins and Jets to the list next year.

I wouldn't mind Raanta, however would they be willing to take Hutton back and how much extra would we have to add? I chose St Louis because they need to save space and know Hutton from his time there. He had his best season his last year there. Also, Allen hasn't been that bad. |

24 team playoffs includes Montreal but not Buffalo
Buffalo has 2 games in hand and is 3 points behind Montreal. If there is no more
regular season it Doesn't seem fair. |

With the overall depth of this receiving class, these were serious value picks. At least that's what they're saying. Time will tell. |

True, but having 2 less games played we have 3 more regulation wins. I thought that was the new tiebreaker? I would think that that would hold some weight. |

Here's a C+ from NY Post:
Analysis: No first-round pick … technically. But second-rounder Epenesa was a top-15 prospect before his poor scouting combine overshadowed his Big Ten film. Power back Moss is an injury risk. |

I love how they deem Moss an injury risk because the guy plays hard and isn't afraid of contact. What a joke. |

We added 2 guys that’ll actually play for us this year, Epenesa & Moss
Sorry, but that’s not an “A” draft
For this season:
R4- practice squad, wr5 at best
R5- qb2 who we hope doesn’t play
R6- a kicker? Ugh
R6- another practice squad wr
R7- depth CB at best
Sure pal, that’s a draft to be psyched about
Meanwhile,
an injury at S or LB could hurt a lot |

Hopefully he’ll be healthier with less of a workload though

Thanks for having rationale and promoting the discussion, but then, you're one of the better ones at this kind of thing. |
