With a trade for Fournette it basically:

Bills: 2020 6th round pick

for

Jags: Fournette and a 2021 3rd or 4th round pick

And as for the 'not a team player' discussion and the argument about getting in the fight last year, doesn't one cancel out the other? He came from across the field to stick up for his teammates.

- adambuffalo

Why would they give the Bills a higher pick?

Talking about the compensatory pick we would receive. Should have displayed it as what each team would get rather than what each team is giving up.

I got CREAMED here for calling him out for that. It was a complete head scratcher.

Seemed like nothing at the time, but his trade history at three years now ain't a whole lot better than he who shall not be named that preceded him.

I’d care less if he got creamed in every trade he made as long as he drafts well

1 was given a BMW, the other got a Ford Escort. But really doesn't matter when your Boss can't get out of the way.

Not going to argue against that sentiment as it is 100% correct.

But when you have a Ford Escort, when you give someone a dollar, you better at least get a dollar back, if not a little more for interest. He didn't do that.

Further, just looking at trade value alone and return value for what was given up, not that he should get more for less assets, but judging the return on the asset traded.....doesn't look great so far.

Each had swings and misses, but man ONE really swung while the other over analyzes. End result, not much difference really.

But if he drafts well, as another poster stated, it can cover a lot, so we'll see.

And again, you're correct, if your boss is meddling that's a huge issue.

Well if you could split them in half, you probably make the perfect GM. But we might just fall into something with another high pick. Botts has a chance to really reshuffle the deck here this off-season, let's see what happens.

Dillon or Moss seem like pretty good compliments to Singletary.

Right....

It makes me despise Jerry Krause even more than I did prior.

Scottie was selfish but right at the same time.

For all the Scottie haters, I have heard and read more people that were there and/or cover the sport state Scottie was the at worst third best player in the world during that 8 yr stretch. Only The Dream and Jordan were better.

Lots of good videos on YouTube talking about it if your bored.

Who's a Pippen hater? The guy was fantastic.

His defensive ability, even during his declining years, was incredible.

Do the trade for fournette. A 5th is nothing. Decline option and let him play for a new contract (for someone else). Would have best RB combo in the league.

Trade a 4th for OJ Howard too

The Bill's might be waiting until the draft to make a trade? I like fournett for a 5th.

Both moves would show a "win now", similar to the Diggs move.

If I were a betting man (and I’m not), I’d say they’re keeping him. Gonna go with the 2 TE offense like Gronk and Hernandez.

Could be, maybe they want to see if anyone falls into the 2nd they think highly of and might want to move up to get.

Coming from a Broncos fan, you guys have a top 5 RB in the NFL in Singletary.

It would be smarter for the bills to sign a cheap vet FA or draft a running back like clyde edwards-helaire in the third round.
-Pegulaville

Ummmmm.... what?

Without looking, idk how u could even attempt to argue with Singletary over any of:
Mccaffrey
Barkley
Henry
Kamara
Elliott
Chubb

I know he had the best ypc,
but he’s gotta do that with MUCH more volume to be considered anywhere near top10
Based off last season,
he’s A LOT closer to 20th or so than 5th

Could he jump into the top10?
Sure
But let’s actually see him over 1,000yards before we try to put him anywhere near that status

I assume the Bills are doing this. They were long in learning last season, but Singletary eventually took over and rightfully so.

Of course he has to prove it and carry the load for a season while remaining healthy. But, he's been brilliant in his time so far, so the argument can be made if not proven.

Now that WR is filled, what is the Bills biggest need for the 54th pick? Can we even hope for a starter out of that low of a first pick?
