Did Montana ask out or was it more like they knew they were going with Young moving forward? - dadeadhead
"With Montana healthy and ready to play, a quarterback controversy soon emerged. Steve Young had proven his effectiveness in the two years he played while Montana was injured, and many fans and players alike felt that they had made the transition to Steve Young. Furthermore, Young did not want to play if he was used only as a backup. But there was also a strong sentiment that Montana was the "face of the franchise" and it would be right for him to remain so. A rift in the locker room developed, and Montana ultimately requested a trade. Although Young eventually led the team to another Super Bowl victory, he was never able to play without being reminded of being in the shadow of the player he replaced."

Got a bad feeling Aaron Rodgers will ask for a trade and end up in New England. - gerbe75pts
"GREEN BAY – On a radio show prior to the draft, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers made two important comments.
He said he "wouldn't have a problem" with the Packers drafting a quarterback early, and he wasn't planning on getting beat out for the starting job anytime soon."
"Aaron's been around a long time and knows what we're playing for right now," Gutekunst said late Thursday night on a media conference call. "We have the best quarterback in the National Football League and we plan to have him for a while competing for championships."
I’d like to thank them for pushing my April 22nd payment for the 20/21 season till May 22nd.
How about you worry what’s going on with this season 1st. - dadeadhead
No one knows what's going on with this season yet. What would you expect them to do with everything in limbo? I'm pretty sure they're worried about this season as well.

Worry about next seasons tickets when they figure out this season 1st.

At least that’s the common sense angle. - dadeadhead
The scheduled payment was due and they moved it out. I don't understand the issue. Should they have just kept it as originally scheduled? I'm sure the scheduled payments were already in place before the season was suspended.
Saw Duffers interview with Vesey today. I don't think he has any intention of resigning here. Seemed very disconnected and really didn't look like he wanted to be talking to Duff at all. I would give it about 15% chance that he's back next year.

The issue is they aren’t getting it on May 22nd either. People are unable to pay mortgages or rent and they’re worried about season ticket payments.

How can the team get that down to zero...we need them to really flatten that curve!

And by May 22nd they should have a better idea of what's going to happen. Taking things in steps is much more reasonable than saying something without knowing what the situation is going to be. Should they have just pushed the payments out to some random time? October? November? No one knows when things will be back to normal so they have to go week by week, month by month. Just like the rest of the world.

Glad you think it’s fine. It’s another in a long line of incompetence. Not as bad as sending me a season ticket renewal at the end of the 17-18 season for the 17-18 season.

No Big loss, really doubt they were gonna resign him anyways.

Should have traded him at the deadline. He is a nothing burger. An inconsequential and boring player

Yeah, I'm not going to miss him. Wish he would have played better since he was in a contract year, but if he doesn't want to be here then so be it. If I were to guess, I I think he would only be happy in Boston from looking at his demeanor.

Payments postponed until further notice. - dadeadhead
I wonder how many will renew with everything going on between the pandemic, the disappointing last 2 seasons, and the gaffs they have made over the past year.

Unfortunately blame is on all parties.
They didn’t play him in a way to succeed but he didn’t show up either.

Well my group was considering moving down and spending more money, now we’re staying put.

From what I've seen only about 1/3 of the NFL teams suspended payments. Does this mean that the other 2/3 are as incompetent as the Pegula's? I think it would be better to have it pushed out than saying postponed until further notice. It gives people a timeline rather than an unknown date. What if they postponed it then you get an email down the road saying your payments due in a week? Would that be better?

Honest question, how was he used differently in New York? His Corsi, Fenwick and PDO were all higher here, but his shooting % was it's lowest. The only glaring difference I see in usage is that he got a lot more PP time in NY.

Well they sent out the email on the 21st when it was due the 22nd.
