They're one of my favourite bands ever and I've seen them live a bunch of times, so I'm biased here. I do genuinely think Metric is one of the best Canadian bands ever (though they are multinational) and Emily is one of the great Canadian songwriters. And I love her.

Don't make fun, it was sad when she contracted flesh-eating disease back in the 80s and in 2013 it finally killed her.
