I like Metric and I like her. She is definitely an attractive woman and a talented performer. She's better than any of us ugly old men could pull , but I do agree with what you are saying in this context of this little diversion.

My parents have a time share just outside of Fort Lauderdale. I went there by car several years ago with them and my brother. Had a great trip on the way there and back and had lots of fun in Florida. Kinda funny that Florida seems to be one of the ones being mismanaged the most right now. Didn't their governor just reopen the beaches?





I guess he doesn't have to worry about the cop anymore in FL.

I think once you get beyond the beaches it’s basically insane. I lived in D.C. which I loved and spent lots of time in NYC which would be ok if you had huge $.

I’m really intrigued by California though. Some stunningly beautiful areas - beach, mountains, deserts, relatively sane government. It’s one of the places I could see living if I didn’t hate the country so much right now.

And I think a lot of people mentioned that even a wife beater can change and deserves a second chance, not that they have no morals lol.

Admittedly, people guilty of spousal abuse, (from what I know, which isn't very in depth), aren't usually one time offenders that learn the error of their ways. Still, I'm sure some do...

Since the conversation, I've basically just been listening to Metric.
