Naw, a little backpacker stove, the tiny ones. Yeah, the Pet trip I did was 100 km in five days, and we did a lot of the rapids, and we were NOT experienced enough to do them. They were several full-on capsizings in rapids. It was crazy but amazing. I forget which one but there's a portage on there that you kind of have to do because the rapid is just too much, and that portage was the hardest physical thing I've ever done.
This time around I'm not gonna do anything like that, especially solo. Just gonna set up on a lake for four nights, do day trips, fish, chill out. I do love the river travel though, maybe the time after this. I'm gonna get back into it. - Zezel
That’s (frank)ing hilarious
That’s probably the Natch portage. I can’t believe you did that trip Bahahah. The Pet is all rapids, dangerous if you aren’t even experienced. I’ve done the last 3 lakes along the pet, Whitson/Smith/McManus.. big musky in there.
You have the right idea. Easy access for a base camp, then have some places to explore. I really enjoyed Laurel. Easy enough to get to (although we took the hard way in) and its a beautiful lake with lots of walleye. I haven’t done much of the western half, so I’m considering Ralph Bice, it’s supposed to be amazingly clear water, good for snorkelling on shrooms hahaha.. lmk where you go, maybe I’ll make a surprise visit

Thanks for the tips man! Yeah I have a tent, a dry pack, a stove. I am looking at water options. Years ago I did the Pet run from Cedar Lake to the end, which was (frank)ing insane, and we almost died. I was guzzling straight lake water the entire time which I don't think I should do this time lol.
Think I'll be going mainly for bass and pike. I won't bother trying to get deep after lakers. If I get a trout it'll be a bonus. - Zezel
Sigh. Everybody's going to vote for Britney but if you know Metric you know that Emily Haines should win. This is like the Leafs against the Bruins. The Leafs should win, but the refs are stupid. - Zezel
While I'm a big Metric fan, I don't actually think Emily was ever as hot as Britney was. Britney for the win.

Well, he's an expert on Russia compared to most of us because he lives closer, so obviously we know more about the States than him. Right? - Thecakeisalie
It’s weird. I won’t even visit there now but there are places where I could absolutely see myself living at some point and I’ve love places there where I’ve lived in the past. It’s what makes the whole thing so tragic now.

It’s kinda sad that men gravitate towards fake beauty propped up by record labels, cheesy sexual fantasy with teenager girls are a means of selling records.

My parents have a time share just outside of Fort Lauderdale. I went there by car several years ago with them and my brother. Had a great trip on the way there and back and had lots of fun in Florida. Kinda funny that Florida seems to be one of the ones being mismanaged the most right now. Didn't their governor just reopen the beaches?
I guess he doesn't have to worry about the cop anymore in FL.

Meh, this is about the attractiveness, not their musical talent.
Which band do I like more? Obviously Metric, I mentioned I was a big fan. But sorry, Britney was hotter. And pretty much every hot famous person is using various means to make themselves look better, so fake beauty? Whatever. It's not like Britney had breast implants or something? Plastic surgery? What exactly about her beauty was fake compared to the singer from Metric?
When I was in highschool Britney Spears first made it big. I had the hots for her from the one video where she's got the sexy schoolgirl uniform lol. Pretty sure there wasn't much about her at that point that was fake. Just wearing slightly provocative clothing. And makeup I suppose, but what celebrity doesn't?

That's quite a specific number? Did you add all the posts and do some math?
And I think a lot of people mentioned that even a wife beater can change and deserves a second chance, not that they have no morals lol.
Admittedly, people guilty of spousal abuse, (from what I know, which isn't very in depth), aren't usually one time offenders that learn the error of their ways. Still, I'm sure some do...
That isn't actually my favorite, but some of the ones I like best don't seem to have a real video on Youtube, just the song with the record or some picture showing and I wanted to post one that showed her.
My favorite is probably Help I'm alive, or The Shade, although there are several other songs that vie for the title lol.
Still, that song at least gives you an idea of the type of music. Yeah, everyone has different tastes.
Huh, actually the shade does have a proper video lol.

Also, I might create a couple of enemies in here, but Emily Haines is overrated - TheMussel
I like Metric and I like her. She is definitely an attractive woman and a talented performer. She's better than any of us ugly old men could pull , but I do agree with what you are saying in this context of this little diversion.
