His work in dramas is much better than his work in comedies.
Moscow on the Hudson is a hidden gem, although I probably haven't seen it in 20 years - I wonder how it would hold up. - Atomic Wedgie
Wow, forgot all about that. I actually liked the World According to Garp and I really enjoyed Dead Poets Society.

The toughest part about Belinda Carlisle will be choosing a picture.
I like who I have her going up against, although it is a far different kind of performer.

I think it put them over the cap, if I remember or maybe it was at the cap so they couldn't sign anyone. |

Would prefer not to have Voynov.
Some things are more important than winning. - TheMussel
People deserve a 2nd chance.
Now I have no idea what he’s been like since the indecent...but I’m not paid to find out those things. |

So this is cool.
March 20: United Airlines threatens massive layoffs without federal aid
March 27: Aid bill passes, United gets $5 billion as long as they don’t lay anyone off for 6 months
April 15: United announces layoffs in 6 months - Canada Cup
Sad how many people have money signs in their eyes |

They didn't have 3 stars 23 or under who have not even hit their peak yet... and they need to give up one. Seriously, no other team would be as close to (frank)ed over as the Leafs.

Sounds like there will just be a flat cap.
The Leafs can move any of their contracts without having to give up anything to get rid of them.
They signed Barabanov for cheap. Get Galchenyuk for cheap.
Is there a need for both Johnnson and Kap? Not really. |

Leafs fans need to stop putting Barabanov in the lineup.
FFS, we haven't even seen him play yet. He's coming from international ice.
We need to see how this plays out - you can't trade Kapanen or Johnnson just yet. |

A lot of holier than thou muthafukers in here!!!
Voynov was guilty of a domestic violence incident in his personal life. He has been punished. Hopefully he has learned from it. Hopefully he has grown from it. If that IS the case, should he not be forgiven???
I'm NO fan of men hitting women....ever, at all, period. (Well if some big tough chick is kicking my ass in a psycho rage and is not mentally challenged...I would have to think hard about it, if I don't get hard ...).
I was raised around domestic violence and have protected women my whole life if witness to it too so don't throw any of that BS at me.
Just curious about when the forgiveness thing happens? When has the punishment been enough? People can change and grow.
FWIW, I'm indifferent to Voynov on the team but more because of the player he is, not his past fu3ked up indiscretion when he was in his 20s. - underhill14

Hard pass on Galchenyuk I think.
If it is a flat cap, the Leafs can manage something. The issue happens when the cap is significantly reduced.
Considering how many teams are close to the cap, I can't see the GM's or the players wanting a significant cap reduction.

I’m not putting him in the lineup.
I trust Dubas and his team in getting these guys. Some people like to look at points and size and that means nothing.
Dubas has been known to see transferable skills from Europe.
He’s had a high success rate with this and it’s at the point where we can believe there’s a good chance he’s an NHLer. |

I still think that Mikheyev injury really cost the Leafs this season. He was just starting to look like a real impact player.

I’d say there is no chance they reduce the cap. It creates way too many problems.
And as for Galy I’m all for any cheap players that are looking for a redemption contract.
You’d be getting a talented player with strong motivations on a 1 year deal. |

I think Arizona and Pittsburgh both thought they were getting a talented, motivated player.

Plenty of good players over there.
I’m pretty happy Dubas is making the Leafs an attractive destination for KHLers.
A Panarin will come around one day and you want to give yourself the best chance at him. |

He had success in a small sample size in Minny.
The point here is he’s not going to be a long term contract. He won’t be expensive. He’s the type of player the Leafs have to target to fill out their lineup for the next half decade. |

So there’s a flat cap.
Murray comes at you with Kap and Johnnson for Manson and a B prospect or 2nd round pick.
Yes or no? |
