Twitter tends to be a poophole where even people on the good side of the battle debase themselves...

but one such person called him "mango mussolini"

I thought that was pretty funny

That will change.
Wont be as high in 5 months or so.

Unless 'merica continues to get trumped.

- Fakepartofme

Yeah it’s a pretty biased poll.

Of course numbers will be high right now 4 months ahead of time.

Just cancel the season. Start the new season in November.
The 19/20 is done. Who cares.

- Fakepartofme

Well I care if the cap is (frank)ed next season.

If they can do next season normally then awesome.

But realistically this virus is easier to handle in the summer months...if they can gain some revenue and put it in the back pocket in case next season is delayed a long time then I’d say it’s a good idea.

It wouldn’t be as fun though that’s for sure.

(frank) it. Wait until Iceland silences this thing and send them all over there to play the season

I think it’s silly and stupid to predict either or.

What I do think is the NHL will look at this situation and IF it’s possible to finish the playoffs this summer they will do it and won’t look back.

There is still uncertainty about next season and if we are looking at a possibility of it being done mid/late summer I think they do it.

Please don’t respond to me a novel about why it won’t be possible because it’s not the argument I am trying to have.

Just a lot of people seem to think the NHL wouldn’t do playoffs so they can start next season on time and have it as normal as possible. Playing hockey in July is just as likely as it being played October-this time next year. At this point.

Where's a good spot to enter Algonquin Park, and get to a backwoods campsite without a gruelling paddle? I want to camp out solo somewhere for a few days, fish, maybe eat some psychedelic mushrooms. No rapids or anything cause I'll be solo. Probably beginning of September. Or an alternative to Algonquin.

Sec Lake. Great fishing, and there’s a couple sites you can just walk to from the parking lot.

Lake Travers. Lots of beaches, along the Petawawa River. Musky in lake, so I don’t swim in it. Hike into Eustache lake and do mush in there, beautiful lake.

Grand Lake (Achray). It’s a campground, there’s a little store. Go explore the Barron Canyon (on mush). Lots of places to paddle around.

Ralph Bice. It’s closer than the others, beautiful clear water lake. Great for exploring/snorkeling.

There’s the hwy 60 corridor. Many campsites along the Hwy. The perks of this is the museums, stores, moose watching, hiking trails. You can still do stuff on a rainy day.

Thanks man. Yeah I was thinking of the Pet because I did that canoe trip with a bunch of dudes years ago. I remember us saying too bad we can't chill at Eustace, cause we were voyaging. Doing whitewater and all that poop. Now I wanna go back and chill solo. I want to paddle a bit, and want to fish offshore. I'm gonna look back into these options. I don't remember it clearly.

Musky aren't gonna bite me are they? I'm totally gonna swim.

It’s not a biased poll but of course it’s going to be higher when people are locked up in their homes and of course it will come down somewhat as things start to ease up. But don’t kid yourself into thinking that it’s going to change very much very fast.

For many Americans, work is going to be different when this is done. People will be wearing masks, temperatures will be taken, immunity will be like get out of jail free card. Return to work is going to happen in waves and many won’t return until there is a vaccine.

It’s not going to be the same and there are still going to be a lot of people who won’t be excited by the idea of sitting in a crowded arena with 20,000 people. Morgan Stanley is projecting stadiums, arenas and concert venues empty or at 25% until there is a vaccine.

Heheh.. well, I don’t trust those bastards.. they get BIG in the Pet.

Ya man, Eustache is my favourite place in the park. If you portages in there, it’s 3.5km but worth it imo. Deepest lake in the park, ringed with 150ft cliffs. Such a amazing place.

If you’re doing a loop, Greenleaf is a great little lake too, it’s near Grand.

Honestly, id just go to Sec. Great Lake to swim in (although there are big pike) and you’ll catch fish from shore, it’s loaded with Bass. Then go up the road to the canyon or to Eustache for the day.

Yeah I'm really liking this option. I do remember how intense Eustace was. And if I'm not doing any rapids I won't need a heavy ass canoe so portaging will be okay. Yeah, stoked!

Assuming the parks reopen of course. Wanna go first week of September when families aren't there but before it gets too cold.

Yeah good idea. You can drive up the old railway bed and shave off like 700m of portaging. You’ll for sure want an ultralight canoe. The fackin wolves in there are awesome. I’ve even seen bears on the lake, lol. Bring bear mace.

It is completely biased to ask a poll question on an answer in 4 months from now.

It’s ridiculous to be asking questions like that right now. But here you are.

I’ll choose to wait and ask the question when it matters. Thanks though.
