Pippen was excellent. LeBron is in a different stratosphere. - kingcong39
Lebron is the goat. It’s not remotely close.
He’s the best all around player ever.
I loved Kobe but he was over rated, especially later in his career.
NO ONE in the history of the game has played at the level Lebron has, for as long as he has, and has been as durable as he has.
NO ONE. It’s not a debate

It actually is a debate and the people that cover the game generally disagree with you.
If I’m starting a team and have the 1st pick in a history player draft, Lebron may not be in my top 5.
1.Jordan
2.Shaq
After that it it gets murky. Lebron, Kobe, Wilt, Kareem, Bird, Russell, and Magic all get jumbled together.

I read an article on the coming explosion of electric cars and TaaS (transportation as a service) and using self driven electric cars to do it ...your thoughts?
I'm not a trader at all, other than a 401k and some other investments with an online broker I'm not doing anything on my own. - joevthree
To make a long story short, it’s an appealing industry.
I was investing in a company called Ballard Power Systems in late 2019 that made me a couple dollars. They are a hydrogen fuel cell company and I may be touching a different subject but they are in that Electrical Components & Equipment industry.
It would ultimately depend on the company and timing of the investment.
Palladium saw a huge rise in the last few years in the precious metals sector for that very reason as it is used in a lot of electrical components. |

Did you see the competition they played against compared to now?
It’s a different league.
If people like Jordan better, cool.
But he’s the only one who is remotely close statistically as a better all around player.
Lebron can score like them and pass like Magic. And also defend any position on the floor.

Another delusional post as per usual.
Sorry bud but you’re as wrong as wrong could be. I respect your opinion but it’s a skewed view.
I’ve watched them both play and honestly, I’d take Kobe over him 10 out of 10 times. It’s sad people just go MJ or James.
The conversation is MJ or Kobe and even that one isn’t even close. - dadeadhead
i'd put kobe top-5 at best....
Jordan, for me, tops the list followed closely by 'Bron...the big 'O' is in there along with Dr. J.
then it gets kinda tricky as players like Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem, Iverson, elgin baylor, bird and magic all vie for 5-10 along with kobe...hell, for those who saw jerry west in his prime, they thought enough of him to make him the player on the nba logo...he was up their with the best of them.. |
|
|
|
LeBron had the defensive accolades for quite a long time as well until he got older. Hell, he had one of the greatest blocks in playoff history when the Cavs won game 7 in Golden State.
I was a big Pippen fan. He isn't close to LeBron in terms of overall ability and performance.
Older does not automatically mean better. - kingcong39
Bron has excelled in an all-around game for much of his career...he literally carried those cavs teams deep into the playoffs and eventually to the championship...hell, in 2015 he almost pulled off a miracle when he took the warriors to game-6 of the finals without love for the entire series and without kyrie for games 2-6...
|
|
|
|
People over look how great Pippen was. When Jordan left in 93, Pippen put the team on his back and had a 55 win season. The next season he led the team in points, rebounds, assist, blocks, and steals and finished 3rd in the MVP voting. At the time the only person to do that was Dave Cowen. - dadeadhead

That’s my point. The older guys have always paid their respects for the players that came before them. That moment where Lebron said “That play right there is where I became the GOAT” turned me off to anything he ever does. The fvck out of here that play made you the GOAT. |

wow...what a ride they had in the late 90's/very early 00's...then a collapse and stagnation for nearly two decades...

It’s really simple
Cavs before Lebron- worst in the league
Cavs with Lebron’s first stint - eventual finals team
Cavs when Lebron leaves - Worst in the league
Cavs when Lebron comes back - 4 straight finals appearances
Cavs when Lebron leaves again - worst in the league |
