Less "based on a true story" more "inspired by actual events".

Ya know...as much as I love metal...I never was a huge Megadeth fan.

EDIT: Also..I don't love that Gerbe said "Meow" to me.....its (frank)ing unsettling.

They're... fine. I neither love them nor hate them. Though they do have some very good songs.

Yeah, that was weird. Par for the course though.

Finished all 3 seasons of Ozark in less than a week. Was good enough to keep me interested, but definitely not the best show I have ever watched. I'm at the point where the Langmores are the only people I'm genuinely interested in seeing what happens to.

$ABX, $ELD, $XGD, $HBU, $HGU

All on my watch list and all have different characteristics.

Keep an eye on the prices of gold though, timing is everything at the end of the day.

Some of those holdings react differently to the market as well so do some research as well.

Got a Scottie Pippen BGS 8 for $20 a year ago(it was at $40 booked). With the Last Dance Documentary coming out and attention that Bulls team is getting it has jumped to $250. Rodman too. $15 dollar buy on an 8.5 worth $25, it’s now $200.

I look for good deals knowing that even if I buy closer the the book value than I’d like to, the value will go up. About 5 yrs ago I picked up a Topps Gretzky BVG 4.5 for $250. It was a tad on the higher side for the grade but it’s a beautiful card minus the awful centering. It was a $225 book then, now $600.

As are all things of value though, it’s only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

The Rodman jump happened over night. At 2am it was a $50 card and I woke up with a notification and there it was $200. Crazy.

Investing in metals is as useful as burying your money in a hole in the ground. Equity markets are essentially 100% liquid for the average (sub $10 million) portfolio, thus abrogating the supposed need for "safe haven" metal investments. Invest in a bluechip tech that pays a dividend and has a nice balance sheet.

And I'm saying that as someone who wasted 10 years of their investing life thinking silver was finally going to have its day. The financial bubble fixed me of that incorrect opinion. Dividend bearing equities with solid balance sheets. Nothing more, nothing less.

Palladium
A coworker told me he had invested in palladium years ago...
It’s a lustrous white material, one of the six platinum-group metals (along with ruthenium, rhodium, osmium, iridium and platinum itself). About 85% of palladium ends up in the exhaust systems in cars, where it helps turn toxic pollutants into less-harmful carbon dioxide and water vapor. It is also used in electronics, dentistry and jewelry. The metal is mined primarily in Russia and South Africa, and mostly extracted as a secondary product from operations that are focused on other metals, such as platinum or nickel.
