So you're comparing Kamara to McCaffrey when McCaffrey had 500 more rushing yards and 1000 more total yards than Kamara? McCaffrey had 14 more TDs as well. |

He's only turning 24, it's not your typical RB signing a big contract at 28. - adambuffalo
That 4th year may be tough given all the touches, but for 3 years at least he'll be an absolute horse, he should've been the MVP this year; he was insane. |

Can you name me a RB that stayed the same after the payday ?
And he's basically the whole offense now teams will focus just on him
Teams aren't going to be scared of teddy - gerbe75pts
Were they afraid of Kyle Allen? Seriously, he WAS the offense last year, and he was unstoppable. |

Adrian Peterson is probably the only one ..
My point is there's always that running back " future HOF " but in the last 10 years none of them Lived up to the expectations.. And it will be the same for all these running backs
Let's be all honest who here thought Chris Johnson was gonna be a lock for the Hall fame when you saw him run?
Then you had ray rice Kareem Hunt etc
Oh sorry .. Forgot about shady mccoy and gore ( But Those are rare breeds) lock for the HOF - gerbe75pts
Rice certainly would've been, maybe Hunt, had they not been terrible humans, even by NFL standards.

Lol i never compared any of the running backs
History has shown when you pay the running back the "money" they will decline each year and its over with
I'm still waiting for you To name some running backs that have had huge paydays and continued to be studs |

if fitz looses a step, it's anything but a country mile
he had a big drop off last season
he had more yards in first 6 games then the last 10 games
if drake can be a 16 game featured back, like he showed once he got to arizona, I think kirk and fitz become 6 to 700 yard wr's - homiedclown
How many yards are u projecting for our trio?

McCoy, Gore (twice), Forte, Peterson, Lynch, Maurice Jones Drew off the top of my head all stayed studs or played better on second contracts |

Chris Johnson was nothing more than a healthy CJ Spiller. He was a home run guy. He also never caught more than 50 passes, McCaffrey has never caught LESS than 80, and was 2nd in the entire NFL in receptions last year. Only a stupid season from Thomas beat him, and he had enough to be #1 in 4 of the last 10 seasons.
That is a horrendous comparison. |

My god, TimCo was an effin wizard. 3ER has said for years he’d go on to win the Conn Smythe and would’ve been the greatest Sabre ever if Peter Schaefer did not derail his career arc. It would be equivalent to what Tom Brady would’ve been if the Tuck Rule was not called. Bad things man. I mean bad things. |

In my mind he’s been talking about CJ2K not Spiller. CJ2K was an absolute beast. Fastest 40 at combine for awhile. By an RB. Incredible. |

Chris Johnson - Wetbandit1
They were both mentioned in the original post. Thought he was referring to CJ Spiller since he was the only one referred to as CJ in the post. |
