that's Beasley's r role...will the 54th overall pick be that #2? maybe...maybe not...why take that chance?...brown is a known quantity...if he only gets 700-800 yds and they have one of the top receiving corps in the league, how is that a bad thing? - Michael Pachla
I don't think they need to take one at 54. If it is truly as deep as everyone claims at WR, I think that they can wait til the 3rd, 4th, or 5th round to grab one.
Heck, one of the best receivers we had in the last decade was Stevie Johnson and he was a 7th round pick. |

i'm fine with that as well...what i'm not fine with is cutting brown because we think he won't live up to our expectations because we think his age automatically means he'll be in steep decline |

Zeke did pretty well last year after signing his big deal, but will be 30 in the last year. That's why the 4 year deal for McCaffrey is a better deal. - adambuffalo
Zeke was pretty bad if you watched him it was painful ...
Yes hes young but he will just be another forgotten face and everyone will say remember when he was a "stud "aka Chris Johnson

whats the plan if Josh Allen goes down week 1, for the season - homiedclown
Cam Newton seems like an obvious fit to be brought in at some point due to the carolina connections. The cons are that he seems like a "me" guy and not a team guy, and that if Allen has a bad game, people will be clamoring for Cam Newton which they might want to avoid.
From a pure skill level, I'd take Cam in a heartbeat, but idk that it's a fit for the reasons above. Other than him, eh, maybe just draft a guy in the later rounds

I'm with you on Brown.
The Bills have only had 21 1000 yard seasons from receivers and 7x the player was 30 or older.
I'm not expecting this huge decline from Brown, but it would not be a surprise if they cut him or asked for him to restructure his contract. He is the 25th highest paid receiver in the league and cutting him would save $8m.
However, on the other hand Brown and Diggs combined still cost less than Julio or Amari. |

For sure. I'm just saying, a lot of times, teams want a backup who plays a similar style to the starter so you dont have to redesign the playbook for the backup.
To me, that's cam newton and Tyree Jackson |

Julio is a super super stud i would call him A rare breed that won't be in the NFL For a very long time..
Amari is The most overrated wide receiver ever |

Anthony Lynn is a fan of Tyrod. I highly doubt he gets cut. Bum is also a pretty poopty thing to say |

Adrian Peterson is probably the only one ..
My point is there's always that running back " future HOF " but in the last 10 years none of them Lived up to the expectations.. And it will be the same for all these running backs
Let's be all honest who here thought Chris Johnson was gonna be a lock for the Hall fame when you saw him run?
Then you had ray rice Kareem Hunt etc
Oh sorry .. Forgot about shady mccoy and gore ( But Those are rare breeds) lock for the HOF |
