If he signs, and it isn’t one of those contracts we’re talking about having to move in two years, then great. But don’t feel like you HAVE to sign him to make the trade look good. It’s a sunk cost, forget about the trade.

This isn't year two of a rebuild, just because the Sedins retired two years ago doesn't make that the start date.

Solid trade for Toffoli, solid trade for Miller neither are sunk costs, it is the cost of doing business to make the overall talent of the team better, and it did that.

Would love for all those things to happen. I don’t think there will be many dance partners for Benning to offload some of the bad money he has on the books. I expect 🐻, Sutter, Beagle, Rousel, Eriksson all to play out their current contracts.
