Your a real winner, so by your reasoning if someone came up and shot you, it wouldn't be there fault because you got in the way of the bullet.

How was it careless & reckless?
Bc ppl rushed out to buy toilet paper??

If anything,
president dipsh!t shouldn’t have been downplaying the situation for so long
And should’ve been impressing on ppl to take this all extremely seriously instead of being all casual about it

And if they overdid it with certain projections,
better safe than sorry
Especially if doing so gets ppl to take this seriously
Which many still aren’t
Just ask Beady

Because they threw a number out that scared the sh!t out of the public and now that number is drastically different.

"Yeah, I remember 2020. But that was a long time ago. We don't like to talk about the 2020 anymore. Too many Grandmothers lost. Too many doorknobs licked. Please don't make me recollect the doorknob licking, Billy. I can still taste the pewter. Have you ever tasted pewter, Billy? It has the sweetest, most lovely taste and it cuts right through you like the spirit of your Grandmother, whom you murdered during the Covid pandemic, because you wanted milk and eggs. Please don't make me remember anymore, Billy... Your father is tired now... And he has lived a long life, full of pandemics and wars, unlike the rest of humans throughout History, Billy, I struggled. I had to delete Tinder.... I'm tired now..."

And my father slept. And he never woke up. I never spoke of the Spring of 2020 again.

I named my first born Covid, in memory of my Grandmother.

I remember how we didn’t have to read these ridiculous ramblings of a psycho for the last few weeks

It was nice

There were rumors of a nationwide lockdown before Trump "started taking this seriously". That's when Chicken Little became the patron saint of 2020 and the toilet paper fiasco started.

Overestimating is one thing. Putting out a baseless alarmist doomsday figure is another, and as equally irresponsible as doing nothing at all.

To tell a family secret, my grandmother was dutch
- jcragcrumple

I'm okay with the Dutch.

But even they know that they should be hated as much as the Brits, perhaps even more, yet there they go, completely absolved of their colonizing.

Scared the public into doing what?
Staying home? GOOD

What negative results have there been from overestimating the #s?

6 million+ unemployment claims for one.

A Federal Stimulus package it can't afford for 2.

Have you read some of the posts on here? People are afraid to leave their homes.

Staying home isn’t going to stop or prevent it now.

It was here in January(I had it) and probably earlier, the time to tell people to stay home was months ago. That’s the part people aren’t getting.

Possibly, but I can't in good faith criticize a model for overestimating numbers and then overestimate the unemployment total.

This is about as dumb as it gets

Overestimating caused ppl to start taking this seriously,
which was needed since president dipsh!t spent 6weeks acting like it was no big deal saying utter bullsh!t like, “one day it’ll all just go away”

Thank goodness that those estimates did get ppl to start taking it seriously
Because that undoubtably SAVED LIVES
And at the expense of a tp shortage?
BIG FREAKING DEAL
Small price to pay for lives being saved

And it wouldn’t have had to come to that point if proper attn was given to how serious this could be right away

What a joke

What common corona viruses in the past have we built immunity against by completely avoiding all contact with it? Really think about this one.

It's not polio. It's not small-pox.

It's something new and the best course of action, despite the loss of life, is to let the population, which they are saying 90% of us will have gotten or will get this virus, get infected and build up a natural immunity while you look for a viable vaccine.

Staying inside and making new babies will produce offspring that hasn't built immunity to this "novel" THAT MEANS NEW virus via their parents contracting the virus and fighting it off naturally, like our ancestors did.

Modern medicine helps a lot and the real problem is over-saturated hospitals, not your Grandmother who takes a prescription drug cocktail to stay alive every morning who is being buried in a mass grave right now.

Yet I'm the psycho.
