You had to fly due to work?

Sort of. I had promised to help someone out with something. Probably not the wisest thing, and most likely could have got out of it, but I'm willing to live with it all at this point.

Is Ullmark/ Murray a stronger combo than Ullmark/ Hutton? Or is it a push that’s gonna cost you more cap dollars?
- Gr8daygo

Most likely, but Murray would cost assets to acquire and there are some UFA options this year that could be an upgrade from Hutton as well.

They don't have the manpower to enforce the quarantine. The only way you get caught is to commit another crime, then they can tack that charge on.

I have friends that own a vacation home in Florida. All their rentals canceled through June. They took their whole family down there because even if they did get tagged with a quarantine, at least they have a pool down there.

There's nothing to do in Florida that's what I'm saying everything is closed

He would be stuck in a hotel room for 5 days its a waste ..

I'd rather be stuck in a bigger house where it's 70-80 degrees with a pool than stuck in 50 degree weather without one. That decision becomes even easier if you have kids like my friend does.

Also, I have first hand knowledge that what the media is reporting about the quarantine and what the actual reality is, are polar opposites. Yes, the bars are closed, but you can still do takeout, and nobody's stopping people from going to the beaches. Maybe it's different in other areas like Miami, but the Tampa/St. Pete/Bradenton area is going unpatrolled.

No, but they're not ghost towns either. There's plenty of space, and families/groups are keeping to themselves.

Hope you stay safe 19. At some point everyone will be affected by the virus. Think about your family.

Hopefully they don't need big brother to make them do the right thing after traveling. It's true there's really no way to enforce newcomers to isolate, short of tracking of every arrival into town. Just gotta beware of the locals, though....

I'm not too worried about it, and neither is my family.

The Warren Buffet quote "be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful” doesn't just apply to investing. The fact that everyone is scared to fly and planes are averaging 5-10 people per flight most likely makes them a place less likely to contract or give out the virus than a grocery store, that is before considering the extra precautions the airlines and airports are taking (constant wiping down of airport fixtures, extra sanitizing before and after each flight, no serving snacks or beverages on the plane, etc.). It also saved me a bunch of money because flights cost next to nothing right now.

That's how I choose to look at it. If I get burned, then I own it and live with the consequences.

I commend you for working Bud, people need to eat, but it's nice to say what you're saying, but if you do get sick, and God forbid you do, then most likely you have had the virus for atleast 4 to 7 days and how many people have been in contact with you. It's not just you anymore.

They were doing road blocks on I-10 driving in according to the news, but I think they were looking for people from Louisiana mostly, but that was coming in. I doubt any state is going to give you much trouble for leaving it.

That's the thing, though. From what the CDC is saying now, the chances of you carrying it already are just as high as catching it at this point. Social distancing at this point is a good thing, but it's almost impossible to do it completely at say, a grocery store or a pharmacy. They're recommending wearing masks when you go out, now. I am willing to bet that when the antibody tests come out, whenever that is, we're going to learn that pretty much the entire population that wasn't immune to it already has already contracted it, regardless of the social distancing, and that the carry period was actually longer than 14 days.

If it’s a persons time to go, it’s a persons time to go. Whether it’s a war, a virus, a disease, a drug overdose, a car accident, a plane crash, a train accident, a gun shot, a knifing accident, a fall and breaking your neck, an infection, a brain aneurysm, or a fart that came out sideways. It doesn’t matter. When you time is up, punch out.

If the doctors had been right my sister would’ve passed in 1992, she passed in 2019. Nobody knows what’s going to happen and I refuse to live my life scared. If that’s what others choose, that’s up to them and I don’t judge.

I hope everyone comes out of this unscathed, odds are people will perish and they’ll be missed. Sadly it was just their time.

At least that’s how I see it.

Yes I have read some of that, saying 80% to 90% of the population will have contracted it in someway by the end. I just don't want it on my conscious that I might have hurt someone else, already have enough nightmares from being in the service.

If I get into a car crash, and someone dies, even if it's not my fault, that's also going to be on my conscience. It doesn't stop me from getting behind the wheel to drive to work or wherever else. The only difference between that scenario and the disease is that the disease is a new thing and therefore tugs on people's strings a little stronger.

I went the tv and home theater rout.

Bought a brand new 65” Samsung
Got a steal on a new Onkyo receiver (a year ago $1000) got it for $250(my old one is 13yrs old and outdated)
Picked up a new poll audio psw for $75 to complete my 9.2 system.
Bought a monthly subscription for an IPTV service for $16 a month(6000+ channels).

When I’m not at work I have plenty to watch/video games to play.
