I am skeptical of the numbers at this point.

Also, how can you predict the impact on everything else if millions got infected...lots of things will get crushed no matter what...and an important one is the health care system.

Just pray that nothing else pops up shortly thereafter.....

I don’t see the big deal.

I have about 6 friends from New Hampshire, whose moms all rock the same hairdo.

Careful, if you make him mad it’s for life.

It’s bizarre how obsessed with me you are.

Nonstop whining, strange flex. But ok.

I think we really don’t know the answer.

Countries like Sweden who are opting to look more after the economy than the rest of us will tell us something.

Maybe they are doing the right thing here? I’m happy I live in a country that’s turning to health completely but we aren’t right or wrong yet for doing it.

I think JT is overpaid as well but i love him and he was an FA who took less than what others offered. So im ok with it
- Fakepartofme

Matthews and JT.

Two players that I don’t care what we pay them, we need them to succeed.

I was running this morning and I passed a guy who clearly doesn't understand 5am running etiquette with his speakers on and that was the song. I was like "Am I back in high school?"

When that album dropped I was in Gr.8

I’ve definitely suffered some hearing loss from listening to it too loud. Then it was SOAD that finished the job.

So according to Dr. Peter Donnelly, President of Public Health:

If we did nothing, approx. 100,000 Ontarians would have died.

With what we are doing, it will be anywhere from 3,000 to 15,000.

There will be a whole heckuvalotta people who will question whether it is responsible to torch the economy to save 85,000 people.

Don't shoot the messenger here, folks.

The fact that the world sacrificed - temporarily - GDP for human lives shows maybe we still have a soul. Unfettered growth for its own sake is the ideology of the virus, and the cancer cell. Besides, it's just a little less buying of a bunch of stupid poop we don't need.

Schools are closed in Sweden.
People mostly working at home since 4 weeks.
Nurseries however are still open somehow.

People in Sweden tend to be socially responsible as in they proactively take the right measures and do not need governments putting rules/fines in place.

In addition, Swedes are not as socially close (children not playing as much with friends after school etc.) as people in Spain, Italy etc.
And surely the weather in Sweden in March (at or below freezing point) surely helped people not socializing a lot but just staying at home / work (so limited contacts).

In other words: it is very difficult to point out what works and why things have worked not worked - because every country and even every region is different..

I also read that Sweden has been relatively untouched by disaster and upheaval for a couple hundred years. They reacted differently than their Scandinavian neighbours, who can't say the same. Some in Sweden fear they are about to get a rude awakening.

That’s pretty ridiculous. I don’t think I’d do that at anytime of the day.

The worst is people that do that or have a 30 minute phone conversation on the subway or bus.

A phone call is annoying, but people just using their phone as a boom box in public is on a whole other level. I want to start carrying cheap earbuds with me and just tossing them to these (frank)in balloonheads.
