I was supposed to take my daughter to the game tonight for her birthday.

Although she's now at the age where she goes to the game with her friends, and I meet them at the front doors afterwards for the trip home. So hey, at least I'm not missing the game tonight, right?

I probably won't even need to escort her home next year.

I am far from a fan of the Dougler and his policies (or, indeed, putting a technical college dropout in charge of an entire province), but for the most part he has exceeded my expectations of him in handling ON's pandemic response. Compare and contrast with Kenney over in AB and he looks like a (frank)ing miracle worker by comparison...

Far more chance of a timely discovery of a drug addressing the symptoms than a vaccine.

I believe there has never been a vaccine against a corona virus. We might get one this time, but it would be early next year I would think.

Given the price, I would strongly consider one. It is almost freaking disposable.

People ask me if I'm afraid it gets stolen.

My answer, "I'll be more upset about them stealing the wall mount connected to the TV."
