Their racism, religion and greed is their identity and it's nothing new it's just more obvious now. In their minds they're not in need of recovering. They control all 3 branches of government (yes the house is Dem now but any legislation tabled by them goes to the corrupt Senate to die a quiet death at the blood stained hands of Moscow Mitch) and their only goal is to retain power not govern responsibly.

As I mentioned on Insider Trading on Tuesday, the NHL has discussed a centralized scenario in which the 16-team playoffs get played in four cities.... But again, that's far from the preferred option. NHL would rather return more normally if at all possible... That's a big IF...

This is a real oversimplification. Trump is a buffoon without question, he acted slowly and has not brought in measures to insure adequate supplies of PPE. About a third of the covid cases in the US are in New York City. It was always the perfect storm waiting to happen. Dense population, scores of high rises and lots of international travellers passing through. Just imagine getting into an elevator in NYC that is 40 stories high with say 40 people living on each floor. It is not too late, but we need science more than political my d!ck is bigger than yours right now. Monoclonal Antibody Treatment (MAT) is needed badly. Since a vaccine is at least 10 months to a year away, MAT is the science we need right now. - winsix

While I agree that different parts of the US will experience peaks in new cases and deaths at different times. A denser population will have much greater difficulty in practicing social distancing. It is rather hard for 8 people in an elevator to remain 6 feet apart. - winsix
Understand about physical challenges for NYC. Weird (maybe coincidence) that Republican states have been way less likely to adopt measures. Let’s see if rural areas who have the space to practice social distancing refuse to do so because FREEDOM
