When do we get to kill the funny looking people since the King of Border Shutting didn’t quite solve the problem?

So no

Realistically, I watched all kinds of stuff when I was 13 that my parents probably would have frowned down upon

Lesson is, if you want your 13 year old to grow up posting on Hockeybuzz, then go for it

I just got back from the supermarket, first time in 3 weeks. Very few people around and the shelves were well stocked. The staff were very helpful and they had people whose only job was to sanitize shopping carts and everything else that could carry germs.
But I really hate being out and about. It gets in your head, feels like you’re strolling around Chernobyl.

Keep it up, you’re only helping Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s poll numbers. He’s now comfortably in majority territory.

It's a weird time. Going to the grocery store is odd right now.

I wonder how the interview process goes for being a santizer?

Wait till 2024 when Truduh has a majority and OAC is President, and the Leafs are a dynasty.

It seems people are more concerned about petty politics than anything else right now. Here in the maritimes we pretty much vote liberal exclusively.

I don’t know if we benefit from it or not.

You are an absolute disgrace to Alberta and your country. You're welcome for getting the 50% carbon money grab increase cancelled as your emperor realized he would be the only leader to be raising taxes during a pandemic that slimey piece of poop. Keep voting for your lot but don't cry when sports become a thing of the past. Can't have your cake and eat it too commie!

I think it would be quite optimistic to think that they will allow 20k people to pack into one building during a public events ban.

Another thing to remember is that each city will have different bylaws in place depending their situation. For example even if Toronto is good to go by July NYC could not see any action until next year.

I went to Costco last Friday and it was easiest Costco run ive ever done. I was in and out in like 15-20 mins and fully stocked. Not a lot of ppl and they had staff to direct everyone during the checkout. Not sure if it was a fluke or everyone was thinking that Costco is nightmare now or what....went to superstore the next day for a couple odds and ends that I didn’t want bulk of and it took an 1.5 hours for like 10 items.

I haven’t seen that included in any of them statements released but if I’m wrong then I apologize.

The point is even if Toronto is ready to give it a go there are are 30 other cities in the league that might not. As well teams may not feel comfortable putting their players at risk as this isn’t just going to go away after 2-3 months.

Canada is getting hit so much more lightly than the US. And in the US the timelines are incredibly staggered. Obviously NYC now with its surge for the next few weeks. NJ and Detroit are expected fairly soon. Florida is supposed to be be hit in May. Who know when places like Minneapolis or St. Louis are hit. June, July, August? And those are just the peaks. Factor in time to train.

It’s easier to see this season being written off than playoffs and a Cup being awarded.

That's so patriotic of you to let The Right Honourable Prime Minister Trudeau self-quarantine in your head! Sounds like there's a lot of empty space in there.

Seriously man, we aren't even shutting things down domestically. That's my issue and I voted for Trudeau first term, NDP 2nd. I've also voted PC in the past so all you righties can (frank) off. My favourite vote went to the Rhino party because they nearly made as much sense as the rest of them.

The sooner you shut the virus down, the quicker the recovery. The balancing act doesn't accomplish much aside from a slight flattening of the curve. We've been behind this virus since the beginning.
