Trump now saying that 200,000 dead will be a great victory. You can smell the panic.

3 million Americans die a year. This is mostly killing people who would have died this year anyway. Many from the flu anyway. Big deal.

Yeah sure, growing pains.

Nothing to do with a poorly constructed roster, and a leadership group that was more interested in cherry-picking to chase down 100 point seasons. Nope. Just growing pains.

Why not just go ahead and blame the kobe-19 virus for all the Leafs problems this past season.

Trump sinks to a new low each day.
Sending broken ventilators to Cali, cancelling ventilator contract to produce large quantities, and accusing NY state health officials of stealing mask.

I say it so often, but what a dumb piece of sh!t.
the absolute worse person to be pres during this crisis.

Thank you Canada

If anything this proves that over 100 years later, the U.S. and the world were still not prepared or ready for some thing like this virus.
At least other countries are trying to work together to find a solution/cure

Sad - but true.

I guess 100 years was too long a gap (SARS not withstanding - too local)

Why were the Leafs inconsistant???....not a mystery as far as I am concerned.

1. A younger roster. Young players have more up's and down's. They are still learning their way. Leads to inconsistency

2. No or little defensive structure. Defensive teams are more consistent than offensive teams. A good defensive team can play that way mostly every game. Offensive players and teams go through more of an ebb and flow

3. Injuries. And players playing out of their "comfort" slot. Especially on the back end. Sandin is good, but young. Be better with less minutes and face lesser opponent lines. With Muzzin and Reilly missing time many guys slotted "UP" to play against lines they are not equipped to play against. Leaf defense is thin. any injury will make it difficult. Heck, even if healthy the defense is not great....so injuries really took a toll.

There you have it. The 3 main reasons Leafs were inconsistent.

H1N1 or the Kansas virus if you want to trump it infected up to 1.4 billion and killed up 575 000 was only 10 years ago.

Well, the previous US administration had started putting plans in place for this but since the current administration's primary mandate has been to undo everything done by the Kenyan secret Muslim they thought it would be a good idea to disband the NSC pandemic response unit in 2018.

Good point. I know after H1N1 Obama and his administration tried to put more funding into projects that would protect the American people..... If only Trump cared about the U.S.
