So...I created a CRA account on the Canadian Revenue Agency website

Now they are telling me I have limited access and must wait for my CRA security code that will be sent to me by mail in 5 to 10 days

in my early/mid 20s there was 1 year i didn't file my taxes. i was making like 40-45k a year and i was too lazy to do it and figured they'd never bother with me anyway. sure enough 5 years later they track me down and hounded me daily. and i didn't even owe money in the end. so ya.. they can move when they want to move.

I want one.

And you may or may not know this, but as a business owner, you have to prepay your next years tax, based on your last years tax paid..

a very similar situation occurred to me recently, but it's because an R1 statement for 2017 was missing, as I had 2 jobs that year. The (frank)ers even had started charging interest on that without me knowing I owed them money. tabarnak

my wife is technically a contract worker, has to do the same. she's very smart but not... the best with numbers. there have been few "oh poop" moments when i help her with her numbers at tax time

I've been looking for the past month for a good Lab/Retriever/Bermese/Rottweiler...hard to find.

A few years ago the place I worked for didn't mail me a roe or provide one to Service Canada. I could only start receiving my money once they reviewed it (they would provide back pay), so I would need to call service Canada and at times be on hold from 45 minutes to 2 hours. I finally got the papers but they sure were in no worry to help me out.

SC: We've given them 21 days to provide it your paper

Me: Then what?

SC: We escalate the request where they now need to send it in 5 days

Me: When do you all actually issue consequences?

SC: Depends on situation

One year we didn't do as well as the previous so after the prepayments, they owed me money.

I got a call saying that it was a "hefty sum" I wanted back, maybe I should leave it there for the next year.

I told them to (frank) off and send me my money back..
