I’ll take your word for it. Not really a drinker.

In my experience, that means you can't be trusted!

I didn't know about the 20 minute thing, but it's good to know. I wish this virus gets under control soon. Mississauga is up to 110 confirmed cases now.

China is a country of about 1 billion more people than the States and they have less cases.

Yeah..

But I think more stuff should be nationalized, not in a commie way, just in a more financially prudent way. Internet, phone, school, healthcare, etc should all be “free”.. And if people need a job, the gov’t should provide work for people who want it, mainly infrastructure or servicing sectors. Also, if for whatever reason you can’t work, then there should be a basic income program. Seniors shouldn’t be living on $600/mth or whatever it is. And tax tf out of billionaires/multi millionaires.

Internet and phone services should not be free. Make it free, and you'll see a government controlled monopoly spring up. There will be no market pressure to compete and improve services. Try and complain to them about mediocre services and you'll be ignored.

Education would be better if we subsidised programs that affect the jobs that are currently in short supply, or that will provide the most benefit (ie. Doctor/nursing programs, Engineering, trades). Programs that don't wind up projecting to a specific career should not be supported. No questions asked free education would take a lot of incentive away from picking practical courses that benefit one's future. There are too many lazy/stupid people who choose courses like General Arts which never benefits anyone.

As for work provided to those who want it.... put more incentive into making them want it, before blindly giving away money. Otherwise, we'll see a growing number of people who never want to go back to work. Considering all the job losses from businesses closing right now, EI gets abused. Farmers/manufacturers should have an abundant supply of workers and ideally shouldn't need to rely on temporary immigrants for labour.

However, I don't completely disagree with you. Disability and Retirement programs could be more generous. I'm also loving my free healthcare. Just lets avoid taxing tf out of millionaires and billionaires... they're the ones running businesses, making jobs and driving our economy. Lets pay our politicians less or make them pay more tax instead!
