Well poopstirken had very good numbers in the KHL on a star studded team, dominated the AHL and has been really good for the Rags so far. Sorokin has put up video game type stats on rookie mode on a team with less talent and dominates in the playoffs like no player in the league’s history.

There are quite a few young goalies entering the league with exceptional talent. And there are going to be quite a few coming up in the next couple of years. There is no need to pay any goalie big bucks on a long term deal. There are already a few and they have become a huge anchor on their respective teams cap hit. Don't do it
