Not a bad proposal..
That’s like 6mil more cap space to bring in a partner for Rielly. Souperman and Mango could easily replace Willy’s production, and they’re better defensive players. Leafs need to replenish the Marlies, they need those picks.

I dont think anyone just replaces Nylander.
i think you have to hold out for the right D (RHD)
Also, I dont know if Branstrom is an upgrade on Dermott or Sandin..if you have to move one of them |

I'm ok.
Just staying inside.
Of course it virtually never rains here - but has now for the last week or so (and almost constantly)
It will be a long Spring season - I'm counting on mid June for life to be a bit 'back to normal'..
I'm mainly afraid what will happen in some other European countries with other social issues (and no proper respect for law enforcement) like Netherlands, France, Belgium, Sweden, UK.. and US will be a mess in 2 weeks from now, and we don't know what the D will do.. |

Id try to last longer than Peter McNeeley did.
It would have been nice to see Tyson vs. Morrison |

People seem to overlook that Nylander is a defensive liability.
He’s really good offensively, but his defensive blunders and a lack of commitment to the little things is concerning. Leafs need guys who’ll go to war when the game gets tough. |

Lol..
Idk who that is. But boxing doesn’t excite me like it used to in the 90’s. It’s all about MMA now. |

He made $700,000 for that fight. Not bad.
I was in Vegas a week or so after that fight. They were still selling t-shirts and sweatshirts - but none in my size left.
It still haunts me. How cool would it be to have a Tyson-McNeeley sweatshirt? |

I used to love boxing.
I don't think I've watched a fight in a decade. I don't even know who the heavyweight champ is.
MMA doesn't do it for me. It's just too savage. |

I don’t have an answer for who the player is, but the leafs need like a 32 year old vet that still has a lot of game left. Need someone to calm the young guys on the back end and not let the run around crazily.
I wouldn’t trade a nylander for that type of player but I don’t think they need any more young kids on the backend. Need them to start transitioning these kids into solid nhlers. |

I think it’s some British dude..
I used to feel the same way about MMA, but now I just respect the talent some of those guys have. It’s an art form.

Nylander Cool.
The fights used to be a big deal. My Neighbour had a NASA sized satellite in his yard and would have a party for every big fight. Those were the days. |

I agree.
Muzzin does that well, but he’s an LD. Hjarmalsson a few years ago would’ve been a good fit.
Too many big ego’s, but I think they’ve taken a step this year in that way. Matthews I’ve noticed is more reserved and carries himself more professionally. That’s what rubs me the wrong way about Nylander. It’s always about himself. Every time he scores he mimics the Christ the Redeemer statue, but someone else scores and he barely smiles. Every coach he ever had says this about him. It’s why both Babs and Keefe at some point had to pull him aside to have a chat. He needs to grow tf up, and start doing all the little things right. He shouldn’t be a minus player playing with 34/91.. Heaven forbids he blocks a fücking shot at some point too..

It's great to know that even in these troubled times, other hockey fans are still obsessed with the Leafs. Well, either that, or they're bored and have nothing else to do besides trash talk (poorly). - Thecakeisalie
