Thanks. Does the dialogue have Tarantino’s usual wit?

Heard the ending is quite violent.

I really enjoyed it. The way he folds actual historical events into a story he makes his own was excellent. And the ending, YES!

The opening scene in Basterds may be one of the best ever. So intense.

TBH Grindhouse is my least favourite of his. I understand what he was trying to do but couldn’t get onto it.

For me it was:
1. Django
2. Dogs
3. Basterds
4. Pulp

Looking forward to seeing Once Upon a Time. Have you seen it?

- bloatedmosquito

Once upon a time was quite good but not his top 4 IMO.

1 - Basterds
2 - Jackie Brown
3 - Django
4 - Death Proof/Pulp
5 - OUTIH

I know it's not the popular choice but I just connected with Death Proof.

The Bruce Lee scene alone in Once Upon A Time is worth it alone lol

Leivo’s a UFA, I doubt he’ll be back.

Which sucks..he's effective here.

I’m a Leo fan. His work in Django was really good.

I’ve watched The Wolf of Wall Street too many times to count. But hard to find now because of the drama around that movie’s financing.

You'll love Leo in Once Upon A Time...solid performance but it's not Django IMO.

I just heard Shanahan say the Draft has been pushed back as well as the awards.

Is that Jonah Hill with him? They probably just scored a big bag of weed.

It's good. Like I said the Bruce Lee scene is fantastic and the scene at the Manson encampment is downright creepy. Actually preferred Brad Pitt's performance over DiCaprio in this one. The ending is pretty messed up so it's it's up to individual tastes here lol

I was listening to Alex Auld yesterday on the Canucks lunch. They were talking about having too many forwards so who does he think will come back next year?

Petey and JTM : Yes
Bo and Pearson :Yes
Roussel :Yes
Sutter and Beagle: No , only one of them
Motte and MacEwan :Yes
Leivo: Yes
Jake : Maybe , depending what he is asking for or what the return would be
Brock: (hesitate )Yes
Toffoli : Yes depending on price'
Gaudette : Definite yes
Loui: (I did not hear his response to that one)

I think I agree with everything

Wherever the cap winds up adjustments can be made for the free agents that want to be here and see winning as a real possibility. Taking LE and Sutter contracts off the books would keep the rest of the forward group in tact plus leave room for the others too.

This scene, IMO, was the best, especially with all his failings leading up to it:

I watch them for levity. I love his socialist bail out packages, similar to the one he gave farmers.

Trudeau was very inspirational this morning. He had a nice smile

There’s zero chance they ever get out from the Eriksson contract, zero, the only way it would ever happen is if you took on another one. And what would be the point of that?

But that’s not getting out of it, that’s still five million dollars on the cap.
