Nothing about Tage suggests he will ever be a top 6 player. The one time he accidentally used his size, he ended mikko koivu's season. If he learns how to harness his tallness and his shot, he can be a nice 3rd line, PP2 guy

And lots of guys have had AHL success & not translated to being good NHL players

Luke Adam & Mark Mancari immediately come to mind as far as Sabres prospects go

I dont see Tage hitting 30 goals in the NHL though. He depends on too much open space to get the necessary whip on his wrister. I dont even know that he really has great hands in tight. Idk, I'm way more on the side of him flaming out unless he really adds a strong defensive component to his game

And at 23, Olofsson went 30-33-63pts in 66games in the AHL as a 23yr old

U could tell by watching Olofsson that he “had it”

Tage is still pretty much a mystery

He's a limited player. He's a scorer who hasn't shown the ability to get the shot off at the NHL level. He dipsy doodles a ton and doesnt back it up with results. He doesnt use his frame. He's not a playmaker.

If he adds weight and works on his defensive game, I think he can top out as a useful 3rd liner. Just my opinion

That’s because if somebody blows on him he’ll fall over.

He needs to add the weight, I see an attractive skill set though.

For people thinking he’ll be a power forward because he’s 6’6 is mistaken. However if he adds enough weight that he can play his game and be hard on pucks he’ll be an effective player.
