100%.
One day it will be google cars and most people won't own a car at all. You will call and the type of vehicle you need will arrive and you'll pay per trip.

I don't see it in my lifetime, but it will happen. This will be an improvement in s many ways.

Iā€™d like a Tesla, bro in law has a Model X and itā€™s pretty awesome.....Iā€™d like to order the truck but I just quit my job and will be looking for work if this Virus ever gets fixed.

I get a beep when I leave the lane. I leave the lane all the time now. Negative reinforcing. Love that beep.

Reminds me of this Fiat 500 or some related piece of poop I drove in the late 70s. The engine got so gunked up I had to keep revs up or it would stall out. That made driving the toll highway from Washington to NY fun trying to slow down, rev the engine, throw a quarter in the basket and drive through.

The last year the heater went and we had to drive with the windshield icing up. I would reach out the window with a credit card trying to scrape off the windshield driving down the interstate.

Now that I think of it, no (frank)ing virus is going to get me.

Andrea Horvath wanted to bail out BMW owners? What did she say?
- Canada Cup

She was on about how the provincial stimulus is not enough and we need to get money in the hands of the people now.

I don't need to translate what that means.

Somebody here on the 'buzz posted a white paper from some think tank about how driverless cars will fundamentally change society.

Like any of these papers, you have to take everything they say with a bag of salt, but it was still a pretty fascinating read. They crunched some numbers, and said that basically the cost of transportation will plummet, as you stop owning a car that you use 1% of the week.

People will stop buying cars, parts will dry up, millions of used cars will become useless - it painted a very interesting picture.

Ya, the money will go to mostly the wrong people.... Iā€™m not even sure what or if I can apply for anything as I quit my 100% commission job.

Had an air conditioner not working last year. Went on Youtube, walked me through some diagnosis steps. Got told it was a part and how to find it. I took out the old one and ordered a new one from Amazon... 4 days and 11.00 later air conditioner fixed.

Can you not try the same? I do understand the reluctance. I won't tough plumbing or electricity at all... a Youtube search may show an easy solution though?

- Aetherial

I would 100% do this, but the damn thing isn't plugged into an electrical outlet - the damn cord runs right into the franking furnace (the part where the gas flame is).

I'm not touching it.

I've called around for a couple more quotes.

Travel north on the DVP, and get onto the onramp to go eastbound on the 401.

They put a radar gun there, hooked up to a sign that would flash "TOO FAST' if you were exceeding the speed limit.

MTO did a study - found out people were purposely going too fast to see if they could light up the sign.

They dismantled it, but the metal poles are still there.

This just up on Global News:

Trump looking to put troops near the Canada US border.
White House pushing for militarization of Canadian border.

Any theories as to why?

Iā€™m not talking a Honda Civic. But there are plenty of cars with better or same performance....a lot of what you pay for is the logo on the front.

Yeah I agree. I always wanted a nice truck, morning fancy just a new Toyota Tacoma or a F150.

I gave that up and bought a used Honda Pilot off a friend of mine an never looked back.

My mindset is the money I save I can use on trips, things I really enjoy in life.

- Santo_44

Pilots are nice, good size....i have 3 kids

My Civic, Corolla CX5 and Altima were all very reliable.

Take care of most cars and they will be fine but I dont see the point in buying an American brand although I guess they are better now also?

To stop his people escaping? We could build a wooden fence and have them pay for it.
