He's not in Quebec.

I thought he was in Ontario and this applies to them too. I thought it was nationwide.

My LCBO is down the road, a 4 minute walk. It's one of the most robbed in the city of Ottawa. Very hard to rob it now at least. Always felt bad for the guys working there. I helped stop 3 robberies in the last year there. One woman literally grabbed a bottle of vodka, sauntered out of the building like a zombie and as I was entering the building heard the employee shouting for her to come back and just grabbed the bottle out of her hand and walked into the LCBO. She kept zombie walking down the street. Pretty sad.

holy poop

looking at how people are reacting to a new flu virus, imagine if the world was faced with an actual zombie virus... things would get ugly pretty quickly

Don't think anyone is surprised. We're not used to real struggle at all in North America. Explains why there's a fuss over trans bathrooms or stupid poop like that.

we talked about "post-9/11", now it'll be "post-COVID-19".

I wonder if we'll learn anything from this, except confirming that people are egoistic and sometimes dumb as (frank)

This is why I still think 28 Days Later was the best "Zombie" film ever made. It captured the spirit of an empty city and the loneliness of life in those times beautifully and tragically.

We didn't really need that to confirm those things.

You remove people's comfort and security and we basically turn back to being animals.

Just remember that laws are in place for 10% of the society that are totally poopty people. Because of those people what you mention will never happen.

and there's probably a huge percentage of people that aren't "totally" poopty, but still bring their fair share of pooptiness

Most likely. Some people get paranoid in certain situations and act like poopty people.

Yeah, the "no-fault mentality" will do that. People aren't used to take responsibility for their actions. It's always someone else's fault (very often the government).
