Not just talking about medicare. I'm not a big fan of the US healthcare system and I don't know enough to propose a coherent solution. I just know that many Canadian people use it to speed up some operations they're having trouble getting here so if it becomes "free" for them, it'll overload Canada's system even more since US hospitals will be flooding like ours.

It's all the other free poop they propose and the fact they're banking on illegal immigrants to vote for them. I think it's (frank)ed up...

right but even if the US ever had a universal system (which they wont, i agree), Canadians would not be eligible for it. like if Americans come here without some form of private coverage and they need medical care, they pay 100% out of pocket.
