I've had a Montagne des Pyrénées (Great Pyrenees ) mixed with Lab, best dog I've had by far.

Border collie would kill me, I don't have 3 hours to run to dedicate every day.

It's not just running. It needs to be mentally stimulated as well. You need to teach it tricks and everything...it's hard work.
