I hate politics ...... but I think trump down playing the corona virus at first was the governments attempt to not have pure chaos to all Americans.

That is obvious to anyone with common sense. Unfortunately most people don’t have that. You don’t go on tv and tell people in one month he’s closing your job and keeping you in your home. Would of been chaos. And he would of been criticized for it

Me thinks next month government will open economy up. People will die as they do with many other sicknesses. The way Americans are they will forget this is a couple years. Most people can’t even remember h1n1 in here from only a couple years ago.

People aren’t even listening to stay at home orders now. Spring break, quarantine parties people don’t care as long as it doesn’t effect them.

Say the mortality rate of this disease is extreme low end is .1 % (In some countries the death rate is over 5%) - If the same number of people get sick, say 30 million. that's 3.0 million people who will die.

My Brother-in-law is an executive there, has been in various stores over the past 2 weeks daily, no time off... has said he has had to intervene in more fights the past 2 weeks than in his lifetime.

My Brother-in-law is an executive there, has been in various stores over the past 2 weeks daily, no time off... has said he has had to intervene in more fights the past 2 weeks than in his lifetime.

Yeah, it seems different here. More young getting badly infected, but less deaths.

I do wonder if we just haven't hit the point of people starting to die yet. No point in using save percentage in the first period, type of thing.
