Funny, was legit looking at that an hour ago and didn’t wanna go down the Miller rabbit hole, but that 4-5 year stretch of 2008-09 to 2012-13 he was consistently very good while being an absolute workhorse

He’s a rare goalie in that he was never (outside of 2010), top 3 but he was consistently good. Goalies usually have wild swings year to year

I feel like Cam’s shoulder is toast. He couldn’t get the ball down the field even before he suffered the foot injury.

Hasek was a top 8 goalie in the NHL that year, Fuhr was letting in goals from outside the blue line

Gotta love skewing the stats to prove your point.

Oh and in the 1st 9 years Kelly went 83-69 to Newton’s 68-55-1.

Kelly 21 comebacks and 28 game winning drives
Newton 15 comebacks and 17 game winning drives.

One is in the HOF the other probably wont be and he’s washed up.

And I’m not a huge Kelly fan.

Also, the totals wouldn't be close if Kelly skipped his senior year like Cam and didn't miss 2 years in his prime playing in the USFL. You want to add his 83 TDs in the USFL to his total?
