Not sure where you came up with this. The roster imbalance is directly the fault of the logjam at RhD and LW. To the detriment of 2C and 3C...and 2RW as well.
What are you thinking is my point? - IonSabres
I misread this comment
Roster construction and over valuing assets are bigger problems for me than his trade record. |

I'd say that he did worse than that...he devalued some players. Montour, Miller, McCabe come to mind.
He could also resign Vesey and Simmonds to save face and not lose them for nothing.
I'd also bet he over pays for Larsson and Girgs. - IonSabres
Yep, expecting bold roster change is unrealistic imo |

they failed to address defense.. whether it was through coaching or players they just failed to address it.. just like how bots is failing to address offense and goaltending and coaching and drafting and trading and nachos and straws |

Thanks, but that is tested right? What is the "presumptive positive"?... I assume that is a certain % of already tested but for which no results are known at that time.
I'm trying to understand the raw number of tested. - IonSabres
I have the same question. As of yesterday, I now know 2 people are close, my half sister and an uncle I keep in touch with from my Mom's previous marriage, who almost SURELY have Covid-19. Neither were tested or will be tested. How are these people being accounted for? Also, they definitely came in contact with others based on the industries they work. How can the numbers not be drastically understated? |

How is he failing in drafting, most of his picks haven't even hit the system yet. |

maybe its just not true anymore but after the 05 lockout.. anaheim, carolina, LA, pittsburgh, chicago all did it with at least 1 big guy on an ELC
you can't possibly tell me it hurts - robz228
Yeah it’s obviously nice to be a great team with a great player on a ELC, but just look at all the recent top picks. There’s not much playoff success for any of them.
Matthews, McDavid, Ekblad, Hischier, etc.
Even Colorado having MacKinnon on an ELC and then a sweetheart second contract haven’t sniffed the cup yet.
It’s just sort of a non-existent thing |

Is say the more important thing is not wasting your complimentary players ELC’s, cheap contracts. Like a Jokiharju, Olofsson etc.
Those are the guys you end up losing/trading to stay under the cap in a pinch

I need to work in the fish room, before I hear how bad Hasek sucked again - homiedclown
Maybe you will bump into Hasek while in there. By the way Grant Fuhr was better then and would be today. I know you can’t compare then and now as the game has evolved but honestly Hasek wouldn’t last in todays NHL where as Miller has and still is. Same could be said for Grant Fuhr. |

Michael Ghofrani: Sabres Offseason Blueprint Prologue: An Identity Crisis - Michael Ghofrani
Out of sheer boredom, lets come with a trade proposal (realistic ideally). You guys desperately need a shake-up in the locker-room, Devs need a D or RW. Let me know what you got!
Here's mine:
To NJD: Ristolinen + Okposo (seems like a bit of a cap dump at this time)
To Buff: Subban (3M AAV retained), Butcher, Merkley, 2nd rd pick |

I don’t think a blogger on hockeybuzz is a measure for any GM
Especially the guy who writes about the sh!tty Sens |
