Lol, now why would you say some team would flip a traded player for more than they gave up.
I'm on record for wanting a new GM as I don't trust him to make the right moves this offseason, which will impact the team for many seasons.
He has a mixed bag in terms of trades...
ROR - Bad
Kane - less than good, not bad yet though
Miller - decent, the coach sitting him in favor of Bogo after the trade request was very bad
Montour - decent
Joker - fabulous
Skinner - stellar, the contract was piss poor
Kahun - fabulous
Frolik - bad
Simmonds - meh to poor
Not going further back than that - most were meh - IonSabres
2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th spent on Miller, Vesey, Frolik and Simmonds. Nuff said
Two 5ths actually
He deserves to be made fun of. Hell, how many points were the Sabres ahead of the senators by? |

Never hitting on 2nds, 3rds and 4ths is a huge problem and has been for years.
Solution? Trade them for UFAs and extra defensemen.
Cant miss on the picks you dont make |

The 2nd and the 3rd are more bothersome to me...the 4th and 5ths less problematic.
The idea of trading whatever for Frolik was absolutely absurd, Simonds for a 5th was meh.
And lastly, I was pretty certain, highly confident in fact that "The Boys" were going to capture the 5th draft spot (27th) by the end of the year. |

I saw someone here reference the Johns Hopkins website when discussing how many people are actually infected. Just saw this on hf boards, just a heads up
Alert Synopsis: A malicious website pretending to be the live map for Coronavirus COVID-19 Global Cases by Johns Hopkins University is circulating on the internet waiting for unwitting internet users to visit the website (corona-virus-map[dot]com). Visiting the website infects the user with the AZORult trojan, an information stealing program which can exfiltrate a variety of sensitive data. It is likely being spread via infected email attachments, malicious online advertisements, and social engineering. |

Im just saying, the premise of the blog (trick Buffalo into doing something nonsensical) is a reasonable idea
I can write the press release now:
We're excited to add another young center to our group. Filip Chlapik is a solid two-way center with offensive upside who will be given every opportunity to compete for a roster spot |

Down 15% today on the inverse, thinking about buying the dip and going all in.
Could either be life changing for me, or I’ll be living in my parents basement forever.
Currently staring down to see how big my balls are.
I sold yesterday and took my profits, still in the green after today’s fall but I think this market still hasn’t hit the bottom.
I guess we’ll find out. |

yesterday's press conference probably inspired the boom
at this point i'm convinced our administration's only goal is to keep the stock market as high as possible, and just swimming in the dark otherwise

When you trade a 2nd and a 5th for a guy to sit in the press box most of the year, you deserve to have the Sens blogger call you a moron - jcragcrumple
Wasn't that a Krueger call? And, he deserved to be in the pressbox early on. He was pretty bad. |

2 d men should have been moved before the season and Bogo should have been waived sooner to make room. Joker and Dahlin weren't gonna sit, risto isnt gonna sit. You have to play Montour at LD or LW just to get Miller in the lineup. I mean what the poop |

They are both versatile, play with speed, can play throughout the lineup, and neither will cost more than $3M per annually.
They also play RW, where the team has a clear need. |

Roster construction and over valuing assets are bigger problems for me than his trade record. |

Two sides of the same coin imo.
He bargain bin shops for forwards - throwing poop at the wall - and spends his premium murrancy on his harem of unnecessary D |

Would be smart to do that now, cause 2 years from now that AAV would be $20M+ - Pegullaville
Agree with this ..... front load it this year and next. |

Idk. Most teams run with 7 d-men. They had 8 but your forgetting that 2 were injured to start the season. And, they were playing a very condensed schedule post-Global series. And Pilut was injured to start the season and even if he was ready, he needed at least some time to get up to speed or even better, based on 18-19, he needed more seasoning in Rochester. |
