i was looking at an asus when i bought the new dell (it's probably 3 or 4 months old now) but i'm just wary of any name that i'm not already familiar with now.

i remember a buddy of mine had a (frank)ing toshiba years ago and i was like "what are you on food stamps? do you need a loan?" but that (frank)ing thing lasted forever. we did like 6 straight fantasy football drafts on that thing. i buy an expensive lenovo and within 6 months it's like "oh, you can click that all you want, but I'm still gonna take 10 or 12 seconds to even recognize your command much less open the file".

Toshibas are tanks. Yeah i had two acers (frank)ing die on me... both battery based. Combined 4 1/2 years. Bought an hp at target and besides needing to get a port fixed has so far given me nearly 6 years. The thing isn't as quick as the old days but still gets the job done.

i guess my old dells never did either but i just got bored with them and anted to try something new.

i did get an HP for my aunt for christmas a few years ago. a nice touchscreen deal. she's literally never used the touchscreen lol.
