Well my life is about to get poopter, I sent all my staff home as per federal government guidelines, I'm deemed essential service. We had an incidence on the Fraser River of critical importance, I was on the 1st ferry, never left my vehicle. Stopped in Ladner to grab something from the deli for lunch, stopped at Starbucks for a Americano coffee. Met the boat and crew and investigated the incident, at 6pm realized I wasn't going to make it on the 9 ferry so grabbed socks, underwear, toothbrush etc at a Walmart close by. Wrapped up my investigation at 8:30.

All day long I could feel myself getting a sore throat, I'm stuffed right up, nose won't stop running, headache, swallow the wrong way and I go into a coughing fit, all this in less than 24 hour timeline.

Guess who's going to be put into self quarantine, this is probably just a cold, but there are no distinctions until tested for Covid. Just talked to my wife and she feels great, good thing I have extra room at home to stay away from everyone .

like you said, it's probably just a cold but sending you positive vibes brother. stay strong.

Well, wish me luck, my oldest daughter has been having the sniffles for the last couple of days. We're taking her in for her and us to get tested. This is not good because if she's positive, both my wife and I have underlying health issues (she has really bad asthma and I recently recovered from cancer)

Hey man. Sorry to hear this. To put things in perspective, statistically, just 599 Canadians to date have been confirmed to have this awful virus. You guys might be in luck - could be just something seasonal. Secondly, if you are all, resources aren't stretched too thin at this point so help is available. Chin up, you and your family are going to get through this.

Good news - I think if your nose is runny its a good sign. Its when you have the dry cough with a high fever and no runny nose and lots of body pain you have to be concerned. Chin up, the numbers are still on your side as just 599 Canadians have this. Sending my best to you and to your family.

Odds are good your self-assessment is correct, but a good idea to take all necessary precautions until you know otherwise. Get well soon.

1000’s have it. Maybe tens of thousands. I have several friends with it and their symptoms are just like a common cold.

My wife and her friends were joking about being home for two months that they would get pregnant .

I told them most of them lost them lost their Easter Eggs at the turn of the millennium, and their husbands couldn't get a stiffie if their partner was Sophie Viagra.
