I never said it wasnt a big deal. Ideally it would have been a 2nd and no prospect. Would I have preferred boucher, goldy, palmu, or some other? Absolutely. I just think you have to give to get, and I'm happier it wasnt one of the 4 mentioned above.

Plus have the ability to understand that social medias and news sources that some point out aren't always plausible. And understand that there may be bigger things going on than what we read in the news and social medias.

Like yesterday when Canada's health minister come out and said 30-70% of all Canadians could contract Corona inside a two year period is complete and utter bulls!t. What we need to understand is the separation of fear smearing and credible fact.

Nothing I have posted has come from the media. I dont watch the news. My posts all came from the Ceo's, clinicians, directors of occupational health and safety and infection control, etc. It was all from town halls within my health authority.

As of right now if you aren't travelling in North America the infection rate is 0.000322%. I'm no math whiz but even with the WHO/CDC's current rate of infections that doesn't equate to a 70% infection rate in a two year period lol

People will eventually do what's necessary and take precautions but I don't think we need a whole lot of 'credentials' to understand what is going on IMO.

Here are 9 players I had ahead of Madden . You can add Graovac and Bailey to the list of call ups also. Then you can go to the players like Sven Boucher and Goldobin.

The only real thing Madden had in his corner was he was a center.

You have to get use to the fact that some of these players will never be a Canuck and will be used as currency to fix holes in other areas.

Personally I had no problem whatsoever with the trade for Toffoli, the objective of the trade was to make the playoffs and until unforeseen events derailed the season the Canucks were there.
It’s a bit unfair to criticize the trade as a failure and rental without allowing the season to unfold.
