I agree with yous assessment of this set. Just feel like they don't offer anything exciting anymore.

Do you collect cards Mr. Peanut? Didn't know that...

To me, cards are better when they keep it simple...I think series 1 and series 2 are probably the two products I like the most out there. Reasonable prices, rookies to chase and not too many "hits" that people don't care about in any case...

100% on the keep it simple too. I generally only buy the S1 and S2s because i don't feel like chasing these limited edition stuff while making the trades/rookie update sets difficult to find.

Used to buy a whole lot more until I inherited boxes of sets and rookie cards a few years back. It takes so much room I've had to scale back on buying them.

Just opened the box of Allure...they didn't keep it simple but I do think plenty of people will like that set... will post review tomorrow.

Ok, it's not the flu, but it *is* SARS 2.0. A highly contagious virus which is known to cause severe symptoms in the elderly, those who are prone to/have respiratory illness, and the immunocompromised. The need to contain this virus and slow the spread is important for this reason.

Now, like Pete said, for most of those who test positive, it'll be a flu like virus, and not much else. So, most of us have very little to really fear if we are to test positive. Pete is also right in saying the plain old flu kills thousands every year. Unlike COVID-19, however, the flu is well understood, and relatively easy to treat. COVID-19 is a wholly new virus, however, and not as well understood, and there's no firm treatment for it.

So you're both right. Mash, COVID-19 should be aggressively avoided to prevent the spread of the new virus. And Pete, it's basically a flu virus, but with some unknown quantities.

And you're both wrong. Mash, relax yourself on the believed danger of the disease, it's not likely to severely affect most of us. And Pete, the spread needs to be contained.

So like with most things, the real answer lies in the middle. Be safe, take care of yourselves and your families, and if you can help someone who may be at risk that you know, do so.

I don’t recall suggesting that if you have the flu you should head to the god damn mall..

Well 3 of my friends are doctors, 2 in emerg, ones a psychiatrist (who knows more about medicine than the other 2 combined), my nephew is a doctor, and my cousin is a doctor. Not to mention my family doctor.

My uncle is a pharmacist (retired), as is my brother in-law, niece and nephew.

My two sisters are RN’s and 3 of their daughters are also RN’s, one has her masters and teaches at the U of S.

So there’s that..

I think it's easier to catch it than the flu....but that's it.

Might be early to tell because they need more data, but the corona could be deadlier than the flu.

https://www.google.com/am...rus-compare-with-flu.html

The death rate from seasonal flu is typically around 0.1% in the U.S., according to The New York Times.

The death rate for COVID-19 appears to be higher than that of the flu. In the study published Feb. 18 in the China CDC Weekly, researchers found a death rate from COVID-19 to be around 2.3% in mainland China.

So yes, the flu is already killing millions per year and we weren't freaking out about it, but this new virus could potentially kill even more, which is the cause for concern.

Well if it's spread faster, something I said, then yeah, it will make more damage.

But if you catch it, you will most likely experience something like the flu. Again, I posted a testimony in here from somebody who did catch it and said so to the BBC.

Older people or people with a bad health already could catch it and then it could get bad.

Not sure if it has to do with the fact that it's spreading faster or not, or simply with the % of people who get it and die from it. So if some people barely have any serious symptoms, that doesn't mean it's not deadly for others
