If there's no hockey what will you write about m.i.b. to keep us entertained all summer. Heck Will hockey buzz be on pause as well. What will we all talk about

We can still talk about hockey. Pizza toppings. Nylander's hair.

Ha ha, that's actually a good one.

I agreed with JFJ and Max today. Maybe this really is the apocalypse.

Noticed the Penguins and the Rangers signed an NCAA free agent each the other day. Was wondering why the Leafs haven't done that in awhile. Could be a source of cheap ELC talent if the Leafs pluck the right ones.

Just looking at the NCAA stats, some interesting names.

Marc Michaelis, 24 years old, LW/C, 5'11, 185 so he fits Dubas' size requirements. Came up in the German development system.

https://www.eliteprospect...ayer/71958/marc-michaelis

PPG player in the NCAA, almost scored 20 goals a year too. Wonder if he can skate. Might be an option in the bottom six.

Josh Maniscalco, 21, RHD, 6'2", 205.

https://www.eliteprospect.../269308/joshua-maniscalco

Went to Shattuck St. Mary's, 11 goals and 32 points in 36 games in the NCAA as a sophomore. Also wonder if he can skate.

Jason Cotton, 25, 6'3", 190, plays Center.

https://www.eliteprospect...layer/195401/jason-cotton

Adam Brubacher, 24, 6'3", 201 LHD.

I assume they're still scouring those ranks, ELC talent is absolutely key for the Leafs now. They seem to have favoured Europe and Russia for a bit, but whatever works. A Bozak out of NCAA would be good.

Most of their European finds weren't anything special and I think that's because of the inherent time they need to adjust to how different the North American rules are. Plucking some guys from the NCAA should be easier and quicker for them to adjust.

Go hard on gold. When everything falls apart, gold goes through the roof. Between the US bubble and this pandemic, it's going to go sky high. 25% return in this past year alone. I suspect Bitcoin is going to spike too but that's always a gamble because most people don't understand it so they never feel confident in it and the market is built on confidence.

I bought a dehydrator for hot peppers this fall. I never thought watching stuff dry would be so awesome lol.

That's the point, buy low. Come back in 30 days and then 300 days and you'll see what's up.

Man, I can't really go in for the jerky because I'm low sodium, if I made some I'd probably eat it all..I'd have to somehow ration it. Goose jerky eh? Have you done duck? I love duck.

I did dry enough reaper and scorpion peppers to light up a swimming pool of chili though 🌶️

The beauty of making your own jerky is that you don't have to add salt.
Try it with an eye of round when they go on sale.

Actually it's relatively odd that gold has gone down. Usually it's going up in these times.
