I had an interesting conversation with a friend who had a conversation with higher-up mucky-mucks at a major Canadian life insurance company.

According to them, the death rate is artificially high, because China is wickedly under-reporting the number of infections.

If the death rate is # of deaths divided by # of cases of infection, keeping the denominator artificially low blows up the death rate.

I don’t care what they do as long as they don’t go to top 8 make playoffs or something silly like that.

I don’t think that would ever happen with the leafs currently in a playoff position. They could make up a lot of the money that will be lost all on their own.

This is not another flu, having a 10 to 30 times higher mortality rate and is at least twice as contagious as the flu.
He mentions, try to avoid contact with anyone. Stay home, get groceries on line etc etc.

This is the biggest thing to me. I have 3 kids. 5 months, 5 year old and 7 year old. The wife and I are pretty healthy so I’m not overly concerned with us but it’s the fear of the kids getting sick and not being able to help them.
